Is it me or right about now does the UNI 1 pt loss to (FBS) Iowa St look a hell of a lot better than NDSU's win over MN?

It looked better even before this game was played. Minnesota is horrible.

But the answer to your question is no. A win is always better than a loss.

I do hope that UNI gets some residual/indirect boost from the Clone upset.

but I think the fact that NDSU's win over UNI looks better than UNI's loss to NDSU, and that should play a bigger factor (if both teams end up 10-1) than such secondary comparisons.

yes, UNI's loss does look darn impressive considering what Iowa St did to OK State. However, any team can get up for a single game - such as Minny's win over Iowa. go figure...
