Not sure I'd vote ODU as the second best CAA team considering we did not play Maine and UNH, lost to Delaware, and beat/lost to Towson at home.

No clue why SBU is still outside looking in.

UNI #4 North Dakota State #5

That doesn't seem right, considering North Dakota State beat UNI just a few weeks okay.

Agreed. But that will all be corrected when they work Liberty this weekend.

Because 2 weeks later, NDSU just lost at home to the team UNI beat the week before with a R-Fr QB. It could.be argued that UNI is better at this point. Obviously NDSU was better in Fargo two weeks ago when Rennie went down, but Lanpher had a chance to tie it up at the end.

Kinda crazy to think that an onside kick and a 4th and 29 is the difference between a CAA Championship, a 10-1 record, and a seed for ODU. Oh well, sometimes the cards just don't fall your way.

Make sure you watch the game somewhere, maybe espn3 and Cry as LU wins and begins a playoff run.

I could say the same thing about the kickoff return against us vs Delaware.

Honestly...how do you even type that with a straight face? Whether it's Stonybrook OR Libertard, neither is making a "playoff run".

How dare I even try to insert my fandom into the discussion with such greats. My bad.

Dude, I am a fan, and I have actually seen every Liberty game this year. How can you discuss my team with little knowledge and much bias with a straight face? I'm good with my statement and my face is just fine.

Stay out of my head 89. There's only enough room for me and my nightmares.

And at the end of the day, it's STILL the Big South. Tell me again, what's the Big South's playoff record? :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

Knowing that the top 5 seeds only have to pay the minimum amount for home games, and knowing how much we bid on the 2nd and third rounds, I can put a cost in actual dollars on the effect of "The Big Fluke".

It ain't funny.

South Dakota #22?? 3 of their 6 wins were against DII or NAIA opponents.

Now that is where I agree with you. We have some work to do to prove ourselves conference or not. FIRST we have to take care of business up at SBU on Saturday. Then, I just feel like a lot of folks have your same attitude and are overlooking LU. We just might sneek up and take a win or 2 in the playoffs. :twocents:

This is exactly it.

It could be argued that UNI and NDSU were completely even that day...remember NDSU won by one touchdown (a TD that was the direct result of a fumble by a freshman RB at UNI's own 2yard that was returned for a TD.

Things to remember that day is that UNI was down a Walter Payton QB, played a fFr seeing his first real action of his career, was missing the starting RB.....all of that and UNI still had a chance to tie the game on the last drive of the game with a rFr QB.

Then...two weeks after that NDSU lost AT HOME to an unranked team that UNI beat in a game that UNI played a rFr QB and RB the entire game.

Had that game been in CF, UNI wins it. It is what it is at this point.

Loving the excuses Clenzy. We also fumbled the ball away going in for a TD at your 1 yard line. Our defense put a lot of pressure on your Payton Award winning QB, he played and was knocked out. Your back up had your most impressive drive of the game.

If it was in Cedar Falls I am not sure UNI wins. We did crap the bed vs YSU but we are dealing with same injury issues of our own, our QB suffered an injury in the UNI game and it has affected him going forward. We need a bye week badly.
