If NDSU beats WIU, he'll be back babbling his usual drivel that day.AZGrizFan wrote:And eat massive amounts of crow.

on when he'll come back onto these boards? Hopefully never. Also I really don't think this loss is that big of a deal to NDSU fans. Yeah they probably wont be ranked #1 when the new polls come out but they'll still earn a pretty decent seeding in the playoffs. This loss might actually benefit them...get it out their system before the playoffs.AZGrizFan wrote: Over/under on when/if it'll happen?
Oh, I agree about the loss....I'm talking about his constant braying about running the table, road to a championship, etc., etc., etc....ODUalum11 wrote:on when he'll come back onto these boards? Yeah, this isn't like the BCS where you need to run the table to have a legit shot to play for the national championship.AZGrizFan wrote:Oh, I agree about the loss....I'm talking about his constant braying about running the table, road to a championship, etc., etc., etc....ODUalum11 wrote:

IMO, a 14-1 national championship team is just as good as a 15-0 championship team.lakesbison wrote:Yea, its just stupid, Im so pissed at NDSU's shot at 15-0 and running the table in FCS, and doing it again next year and leaving for FBS in year 3! no way we should've lost a game that you clinch #1 and conf champ, NO WAY!

STOP THEM, get back in 2nd half and make it 28-10, game over, ARGH>

IMO losing one makes the team better and more focused.ODUalum11 wrote:IMO, a 14-1 national championship team is just as good as a 15-0 championship team.lakesbison wrote:Yea, its just stupid, Im so pissed at NDSU's shot at 15-0 and running the table in FCS, and doing it again next year and leaving for FBS in year 3! no way we should've lost a game that you clinch #1 and conf champ, NO WAY!
Or, it will cause them to stumble into the playoffs only to lose in the first round.AZGrizFan wrote:IMO losing one makes the team better and more focused.ODUalum11 wrote:

Also a distinct possibility.grizzaholic wrote:Or, it will cause them to stumble into the playoffs only to lose in the first round.AZGrizFan wrote:

That kinda-sorta depends on who the team you lose to is. I'm sure you'd feel that a 14-1 NC year is a failure if that one loss was to the Kitties, just the same as if our 14-1 loss was to the Manure Pile.AZGrizFan wrote:IMO losing one makes the team better and more focused.ODUalum11 wrote:

RE'TARD. You win the NC, you feel great. PERIOD.SuperHornet wrote:That kinda-sorta depends on who the team you lose to is. I'm sure you'd feel that a 14-1 NC year is a failure if that one loss was to the Kitties, just the same as if our 14-1 loss was to the Manure Pile.AZGrizFan wrote:

The opposite is kinda true. I'm sure you'd feel at least a little better about a 1-10 year if that one win were against the Kitties.
NOPE.SuperHornet wrote:I don't mean the same "failure" there that lakes does. Of course you're going to celebrate. But later when you remember that the loss was to your hated rivals, that's going to eat at least a LITTLE bit, and definitely more so than if the loss had been to just about anyone else.
Spoken like a fan of a team that's never sniffed the playoffs, let alone a national championship.SuperHornet wrote:That kinda-sorta depends on who the team you lose to is.
