If Montana wins, in two weeks, do they get a seed?

Yes they do. Only one loss to an FCS team and Sac wasn't too bad of a loss, for they showed they had some game by defeating Oregon State.

If would have to say a #3 or #4 seed.

If the selection committee wanted to right all the wrongs in the universe it would just bump NDSU down to 3 or perhaps 4 and give Montana the #1 seed......

Tough one.....it'd obviously depend on what happens with the other potential seeds, but as it stands right now I have a hard time seeing a 2-loss team getting a seed. It could definitely happen though.

I obviously expect some of those higher up than Montana to lose in the next two weeks. Besides, Montana would only have one FCS loss.

I don't expect the Griz to win anyways, just a curious thought. Sorry all.

I think there is a chance if THE GRIZ win both teams get a seed. Probably 4-5. I think though that the best THE GRIZ can hope for with a win is the five seed, putting MSU at four in my unlikely scenario.

I think so, though I'd feel more confident if Cal Poly hadn't choked their playoff chance away.

Assuming a team or two above us loses a game, which is highly probable, I'd say so. You wouldn't be able to end the season on a much higher note than a 7 game winning streak punctuated with a win against the 2nd ranked team in the nation on the road.

I'll just take a ten game win streak and a win vs. the #8 team.

Georgia Southern losing and a couple of losses at the top of the CAA would help. I hope it happens, I might try to make it over for a game or two.

Also this weekend.. Teams that are ranked 4-7 have games against quality opponents that could play in favor for Montana going into the Brawl of the Wild weekend.. Im not saying that all these teams will lose but there is a chance a couple teams will go down this weekend.

Saturday November 12th
#4 Ga Southern (8-1) at #9 Wofford (7-2)
#5 Northern Iowa (7-2) vs. Southern Utah (5-4)
#6 Lehigh (8-1) vs. Georgetown (8-2)
#7 New Hampshire (7-2) at #12 Towson (7-2)

Montana State rarely wins this match, why they haven't beat the Griz in months.

I think the best we could get is the #3 behind NDSU and a Southern team.

The most I ever REALLY need is a one win streak after the Griz/Cat game.
