Southern U. disaster of a season

Jags looking at a historic 2-9 season (again).
Have lost 5 games by 6 pts or less each.
Horrible second half team
Rotate QBs with no rhyme or reason
Head Coach to stubborn to hire an OC
"Supposed Star" transfer receiver doesn't make plays
Defense too thin
Started a stupid brawl that they still managed to lose.
No running game to speak of.
I think I'm done for now.

I think the question everyone wants to know...will you beat Grambling this year?

IMO Grambling was lucky to beat Valley this week as well.

What is Stump's problem I think they should have hired Ted "Sweet Flight" White as head man what do you think.Hey just came from the SWAC website and saw the new 1-aa rankings Jackson St and Alabama St are climbing up the charts JSU is #16 and ASU is #19 as stated before Tampajag too bad there is no automatic playoff bid at the end of the season. They would needless to say have something to play for and both QB's Dominguez and Therriault could have used the SWAC Championship game as a audition for the NFL because both are seniors.Tampajag where is frosh WR William Waddell at 6-4 205 I was hoping to hear he had a impact in the WR's core is he being red-shirted?Also just came from seeing the official roster you have another big frosh WR named Bradley Coleman listed at 6-5 210 and another big WR named Javon Jordan 6-6 226 these guys along with Waddell need to be starting imagine them as redzone threats and really imagine this Panther QB Jerry Lovelocke throwing to them?????Who was the star WR that transfered that wasn't making plays????

I'm gonna answer these numerically:
1. Stump's issue is that he won't hire an OC. And he has no idea what kind of offense he wants to run. Ted White was the QB coach last year (he's from Baton Rouge) he got the OC job at Howard. If Heishma Northern (SU alum and former player) didn't get the job when he wanted it, White had no shot.
2. J-State isn't going anywhere due to their APR punishment so there's no Championship game for Casey-O. I wouldn't mind seeing how Alabama State would fare.
3. Waddel has been getting some playing time. I think he scored a TD this year. But I still expect big things from him. He's not getting the looks because the QBs don't have an opportunity to build a rapport with the WRs. Since they are young and inexpierenced they tend to look toward Evans. They moved Jordan to TE and I think he had grade issues this season.
4. I like JP Douglas (he's a freshman QB) if he can continue to grow, we'll be OK at that spot. Joseph isn't bad but he makes too many bad decisions. But we've been spoiled with QBs such as Quincy Richard, Thomas Ricks, and Bryant Lee all in a row.
5. Jared Green (Darrel Green's son) came from UVA with high praise. I haven't been impressed with his play. Great speed not so good hands.

Okay thanks dear old dad needs to work with his son when it comes to catching the ball. What is Green's class?I think Jordan needs to be returned back to WR and along with the other WR's and run on the track team.

He's a senior. Years ago our track program was full of football players, now I don't think many run. Of course our track program has regressed as well. Our Athletic Program is a shell of it's former self. But that's a topic for another time.

That is why Stewart was a NFL reject hopefully coach Johnson can bring it back from the dead

J.Stewart's problem was upstairs, he had a typical Baton Rouge mentality. Johnson is young and energetic, hopefully he can rebuild the talent level.

At least you don't have to play and potentially lose to Towson.

I hope they turn this season around tampajag, but if they do not there is always next year. Keep your head up. If you beat Grambling State at the end of the year that will take some of the sting off the less than great season.

So I can safely say he failed in the classroom as well?
