Coastalalum is still sitting pretty at the top but the next 10 are within one week's points of each other so these next couple weeks are going to be important...with that in mind Im adding another bonus this week...the Upset Special. Here is how it works: I will list 10 games (including the FBS Bonus Game of the Week). You pick ONE game that isnt listed in this week's picks as your Upset Special of the week. If you get it right you get 5 bonus points. If you get all 10 games right AND your upset special...your score for the week will be DOUBLED (So if you get all 10 plus the FBS Bonus game PLUS your upset special, you can get up to 40 points in a week)

My Upset Special:

Georgia Tech 38 Clemson 35

My Charleston Southern / Gardner Webb pick was difficult. If Mounce starts at QB for Charleston Southern, I pick CSU. If Dixon starts at QB for Charleston Southern, I pick GWU. Coach Mills said in his teleconference he expects Dixon to play (which I assume means start and play QB...thus my pick) I have no confidence in Dixon's ability at QB. I think Mounce is the best choice at QB for CSU. Yes, Dixon has talent. He is a good runner and is pretty fast, but his decision-making at QB is not very good. Dixon was originally recruited as and played WR, then moved to QB late last year due to injuries to the other QB's. If I am Coach Mills and I truly want to put my athletes and team in the best position to win, I start Mounce and move Dixon back to WR. I think he would see great things. I've seen a couple WR's round into form over the past few weeks. Add Dixon to that mix and I think you see the offense take another step forward. Plus, it gives the offense an added dimension. Dixon and Mounce on the field at the same time opens up some options that teams will have to prepare for because both can run and throw. Mounce the better passer and Dixon the better runner.

Oh well. Never thought we'd be staring at an O'fer through 7 games.

I thought the consensus was that the AGS poll whomps. If that's the case, then why are we referencing it here? Why not reference the clearly superior CS poll?

because I found it easier to use one set of rankings across both sites when posting the non-Big South games...now do you actually have something meaningful to contribute?
