SoCon Warning !!!

Chattanooga freshman QB Terrell Robinson (6'-3" 195 lbs) had a 251.2 rating Saturday. BJ who?
Robinson was 11-13 for 140 yds and 3 TDs - only threw 1 pass in the second half. He rushed for 115 yds with 14 carries (long of 41).
UTC would roll him out - either way - on what looked to be run/pass options.
His first TD pass the entire O-Line blocked down to the right with a naked QB bootleg to the left. A DB set the edge and TR cut back to the LoS and fired the ball (as he was hit) to Bradford down the left sideline. The second TD was from the shotgun; as the pocket collapsed he tucked the ball -as to run up the middle- then as he was hit at the LoS 'zipped' one to a crossing wide receiver. Third TD pass was from under center - straight drop-back -- fade route to the left corner of the end zone.
His 41 yard run looked like 'student body right' - they pulled a guard out front in tandem with a RB and swept around right end.
Against The Whee Robinson was 7-11 123 yards and 3 TDs and rushed for 72 yards on 14 carries. After replacing Coleman against GSU, he was 5-9 for 62 yards (with an INT!) and rushed for 114 yards, falling just short on a 2-pt conversion attempt of beating the Eagles.
The Mocs with TR look to be a handful over the next 3 years!

Agreed. The Mocs are a dangerous team this year, they are 4-4, but at one point they lost 3 conference games in a row by a total of 4 points. It's not out of the question that they win out and finish 7-4. If they do they would have to get serious playoff consideration with three close losses and a loss to FBS Nebraska.
They do have some tough games coming up though, but two of them, Furman and Wofford, are at home.

Chattanooga is a great team...but if Wofford rolls in there the last week of the season and we're 7-3....Chattanooga will not make the playoffs

A 7-3 Wofford vs. a 6-4 Chattanooga will, in effect, be a playoff game.

Correct, I just think that win push comes to shove, Wofford will beat Chattanooga. We lost yesterday, but I'm still pretty sure we're a top 10 team. If we play fired up and our best game with minimal penalties and turnovers, there aren't many teams in the nation that can or will beat us....Chattanooga included

Any team that can show a little character when gut-check time comes around can beat UTC.
Wofford has that, and that's why I predict they will beat UTC pretty handily. They will chip away at UTC's defense little by little, and as a result the UTC offense will spend little time on the field.

And that has been UTC's downfall. They don't know how to win.

The 'character' (whatever that means) with Coach Huesman in his third year has improved greatly for the Mocs. UTC’s most recent single-year APR score was 988, and he now has a youth-dominated roster he can call his own.
IF the UTC playoff possibilities come down to their final game, I like their chances.

Among other things, "character" means not assuming you have already won the game in the 3rd when you are up by 4 scores.
Conversely, it also means assuming that you CAN win even though you are down by 4 scores in the 3rd.
