Won't be able to make this one, but I'll be watching this one on the Bert N Earnie network. KBS should be absolutely electric for this one. When was the last time App. State was an underdog in their own stadium, anyways?

Last year against Villanova. Not trying to be a smart azz, but you could tell App was not the same caliber they had been in previous years. Edwards was like adding 7-10 points, and App might have a tough time filling that hole for awhile.

The score today doesn't show how much we dominated. Three redzone trips in the first seven minutes and 0 points (unlucky INT, fumble, missed FG). Samford resorted to trick plays late to get a score.
Offense is clicking really well and the coaches have the confidence in JJ to open up the playbook more. Defense is playing very well minus a couple of lapses here and there.
We're really good. Next week we find out if we're great.

There is not a better football rivalry in the SoCon than this one. Sans the 2005 and 2009 ASU blowouts, the games in Boone in the last decade have been barn burners. I still remember "BUS-GATE" from 2003. It's gonna be a good one! Good luck to both squads.

Agreed.
GSU has taken some really good teams to Boone and lost (1987, 1999 for example) and for the most part you can throw out statistics when these two teams meet. Expect a very physical game with turnovers and special teams possibly being the deciding factor.
The GSU/App rivalry has produced some epic games... 1999, 2000, 2001, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010 are all some of the most exciting games you'll ever see at this level. I expect nothing different this time around.

They shouldn't have parked their buses in the way of our goalposts.
We do take responsibility for the pizzas though.
And for future reference GSU fans, make sure your band doesn't marching toward the ASU student section playing the fight song.

Can't vote -- too superstitious
I hope it's a great game, and good luck to The Convicts from the Georgia Southern State Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation!

App appears to be peaking at the right time similar to GSU last year when App traveled to Eagle Creek and they got on a roll continuing into the playoffs. This one has all the makings of a classic.
Go Apps!

We'll be there, but I'll only predict football on Saturday. Should be another great one. Travel safe GSU folks
