Nice win, opens up the #3 spot for INSU, ILSU, and YSU.

Birds have a STOUT defense, I was very impressed with what I saw in Fargo and they've been on a roll since.

To think YSU scored on their first five possessions against them. Glad we beat them when we did. Looks like ILSU and YSU will be trying to work some 3 loss magic from here on out.

ISU still has UNI so its still grim, at least we got em at Hancock, last time there we gave the game away then stole it back 22-20, just ask the Cap'n about that one...I'm expecting ISU to pop up in the 21-25 range of the Top 25 this week

YSU still has UNI... on the road... in two weeks. We have lost to them 10 straight times, although many have been by less than a touchdown. Then we have NDSU... in three weeks. We blew leads to each of them last year late... Less than 2:00 vs. UNI and less than 0:40 vs. NDSU.

Win one of those two, we could finish 7-4 if they take care of business at home. However 6-5 still seems the most realistic prediction for YSU.

I think the 2 ISU's have a lot more to be optimistic about right now than YSU. The MVFC could (emphasis on COULD) have 4 playoff teams this year if things play out just right (although realistically that would probably require UNI and NDSU to lose 1 or 2 games based on how the schedules are set up). Illinois st. always gives the Panthers a good game and ending the regular season in Normal kinda scares me this year, especially if their season is on the line and we're still sitting at the top of the standings with the playoffs wrapped up...

Guin, I don't see YSU making it this year but based on last seasons results, ending in the top half is a pretty impressive accomplishment. And heck its still a possibility.

I don't disagree, I predicted 6-5 coming in and expect us to finish that. However, I believe YSU has the offense, 3rd best in the FCS, to contend on the road at UNI and NDSU. That road win at SIU was big for our program and Coach Wolford, as it was his first road win at YSU. However winning on the road in either dome is a daunting task. Although we did beat the Bison in Fargo two years ago.
