NDSU and MONTANA should join the MWC. as travel partners, its their peer institutions and both would be competitive right away!!
TIME FOR FBS !!

The MWC would take USU and SJSU from the WAC before they consider the BSC Montana's and the B10 NDSU.

With the media money grab I would think that Sac State would be asked to join before Montana or NDSU

There are plenty of FBS programs the MWC could pursue before even considering an FCS program. I think the MWC will leave the FCS slumming up to the Sun Belt and WAC.

What about SDSU? I thought NDSU and SDSU were connected at the hip? Montana didn't want NDSU as travel partners in the Big Sky...why the hell would they want to be partners in the MWC? Keep dreaming Lakes. I am sure the SEC will accept NDSU any day now.

SDSU cant stick up with NDSU moneywise/fan support wise/Media wise. Fargo is #112 in media market

I am on this site til they ban me Lakes so be a man and quit whinning like a 2 year old who stole your toy. NDSU dumped the NCC with help from SDSU, NDSU couldn't get into the MVFC without SDSU (as no one wanted NDSU only), and now you are going to dump them by the wasteside. And why wouldn't Montana State be more of an attractive traveling partner than NDSU? Remember NDSU's resume is crap. No conference wins (except 1 GWFC title), not even a .500 record in the Missouri Valley. Also where is the $$$ coming from when NDSU had to raise tuition 8.8%? There is no cash cow at NDSU and Sanford isn't going to pay the bill. If NDSU had all this money for the FBS they would've been done at the new SHAC (new BSA), but until thats done whatever decade that will be...you guys play in a garage. Plus one more fact why NDSU won't move west......its out of your recruiting range. Thats been the biggest argument why NDSU loves the MVFC over the Big Sky. Also travel costs...your Bison buddies are slamming UND for travel costs in the Big Sky what about NDSU traveling from San Diego State to East Carolina and everywhere in between. Did the Bakken oil patch stretch down I-94 and land on the NDSU campus? Just some facts for you Lakes.

I am no way sticking up for Lakes....but logistics, recruiting and fan friendly the MVFC is by far the better choice, I drove to Bozeman last year for our playoff game and man that would suck to have that the closest game for the road, at least I can now Drive to Cedar Falls, Brookings, Vermillion easily, hell the Illinois schools and Missouri St are closer than 90% of your road games. Face it your Travel cost are going to be higher regardless and 3 time zones sucks. BSC is a good conference dont get me wrong just not for where our schools fit. You sure like to make fun of our .500 Conference record but forget you havent played in a real conference yet so you better watch how much shit you throw out.

#1. Our alumni and recruiting area is in the west, #2 yes travel expenses will suck but not as bad as now (going from Grand Forks to Texas, and Grand Forks to New Jersey), and #3 yes we haven't played in a REAL conference but I am not the one saying UND needs to move up to the FBS.

Good post 07. NDSU is only moving up in Lakes' fantasies. I would never wanna move up until there is some sort of playoffs system in the FBS. Which will not happen for a very long time, if ever.

NDSU does not have more money than UNI does.
NDSU didn't have the balls to go D1 35 years ago like UNI did either.

17 players from AZ, CA, WA, CO, rest are from MN, WI, ND, SD, NE, FL, TX and Manitoba. MN and WI kids are likely to not consider UND as easy now.

He would not have played QB at NDSU, we have 4 QB's on the roster, and 1 that has been switched to WR so you were saying??
oh yeah you recruit the west thats right but yet 87% of your roster is MN, WI, IA, SD, NE, TX, FL

mollberg is a wimp if he doesnt want to fight 4 quarterbacks. I watched him throw 2 interceptions last night vs a bad perham team and lose. he can go study medicine in stink forks who cares.
THE REASON YOU SHOULD BE ON A NAIA SITE DARREL is that YOU CANT TALK S**T ABOUT ANYTHING WITH YOUR CRAP PROGRAM.
give us a break SUU lost to USD who got piss pounded by Illinois state today SO YOU HAVE 0 QUALITY WINS THIS YEAR OR LAST. GO AWAY IDIOT>

You say Mollberg is a wimp yet being recruited by NDSU and Iowa. Yes a real Big 10 school..IOWA!!! Because NDSU has quality wins....Big 10 wimp Minnesota who got beat by USD last year? Lafayette? St. Francis...yep quality wins. And you can't end a thought without insulting me. You think I care?......NOPE!!!

What % of western recruits are freshman? Most are seniors who were recruited when we first joined DI and had a new coach.

The irony of this claim is that the #112 television market in the US is the Souix Falls market, which includes Brookings. The Fargo market is #120.
