I wonder if it had to do with the fact he played horribly against the Griz last weekend, and then Kramer called him out during post game interviews. Might not have liked Kramer being so brutally honest with the general public.
Obviously just speculating.

he was their best player last yr and was very good. not sure why but he has done nothing this yr. injury?
he had 1 rush attempt vs the griz last week for 0 yds.
last yr he almost single handedly beat weber state but they missed some FG's and lost.

Kramer is notorious for giving players the boot. He did it at EWU...not sure about MSU, but this is nothing new.

He got rid of a lot of players his first year at MSU. I don't recall the numbers, but it was substantial.
