Big Sky Week 7

Since it seems Wildcat Ryan is lost in the woods hunting somewhere, I'll start this thread.
Portland St @
Montana
Northern Arizona @
Montana St
Idaho St @
Weber St
Northern Colorado @
Eastern Washington
Sacramento St - BYE
Similar to last week, it's pretty easy to pick these games. But opposite of last week, all the home teams should be the favorites. The toughest call, if there is one, is PSU @ UM.
I'm going with:
UM by 2 TDs
MSU by 3 TDs
WSU by 4 TDs
EWU by 5 TDs

I am thinking, hoping to be wrong, that UM loses at least 2 players for the season this weekend at the hands of PSU's chopblocking asses.

Here's hoping, but I'd be pretty surprised if it happened.

Portland St @

Northern Arizona @
Montana St
-nau has won last 2 in bozeman and 2 straight wins against bobs but i dont think this is their yr to get another.
Idaho St @
Weber St

NAU beating MSU is not outside the realm of possibility. I thought they were pretty balanced offensively, and if we had not been +4 in the TO margin plus giving up a couple huge plays they could have won their game against us.
The biggest thing hurting NAU defensively is their secondary, which is pretty suspect at the moment. EWU exploited that weakness, and I expect MSU to do the same. NAU's run defense is pretty sharp. The front four are all Seniors, I believe.
If they clean things up some, they could have a shot.

NoCo 14-45 EWU — Bo Levi Mitchell faces another lousy secondary.
Idaho St. 24-42 Weber — Idaho State never beats Weber.
Portland St. 20-34 Montana — Vikings haven't won in Missoula since they were Division II.
NAU 21-38 Montana St. — The 'Jacks won't win three straight in Bozeman.

Well here's hoping my picks go better than my elk hunt,
EWU- UNC wont win a game this year, at least not a BSC game
WSU- Weber wins thier 9th straight and 24th of the last 26th vs thier rivals
UM- UM's defense saves the day
MSU- No NAU shocker this year

No suprises this week. Home teams roll, with PSU @ UM being the closest.

2008 in poca was the best win. that would have sucked to be an isu fan that didnt leave early. the big sky brought out the big sky champions trophy on the bengals field for us. im sure u were there. there was more wsu fans than isu in the dome.

Bringing the trophy out in that game was a mistake, I feel our team relaxed a little bit knowing they secured the conf championship and the autobid. We lost a lot of intensity the following game against Eastern, and we payed for it.

big sky had to bring it out, we won it. besides what if it ends up being another 40 yrs between titles.

Let's not ever mention that E Wash game again. The worst feeling I have ever had following a football game.

Trust me I have tried forgetting it, but it lingers like a bad odor.
