Non-MEAC/SWAC historically black universities?

Just curious, but are there any historically black universities in the FCS that play in conferences other than the MEAC or the SWAC? What about in the FBS? A quick glance of every other conference showed none, but then again, I obviously don't know the history of every university that plays D1 football.

^THIS, and there is a LOT of history behind how that occurred. But I won't get into it.

A lot of bad, not necessarily within the conference itself. But mainly with the school and the state legislature in TN.

Seems like they ended up in the better situation though by being in the OVC.

In 1970, the state consolidated Tenn State with the all-white UT-Nashville in the name of desegretion - which is the only such consolidation that has happened. The plan was to try to shift TSU from being an "black" college to that of a state school like any other, which the alumni, etc of TSU did not like.
