Not on the radar right now. Beat Sac State & PSU and I'll pay attention.

I would say yes and yes.
EWU had to have one of the most difficult first 4 games in the nation with games against a FBS and 3 Top 25 teams (currently #3 MSU, #14 UM, and #15 USD). On top of that 3 of those were on the road. This isn't the CAA where teams get to pad their overall records with games against Ivies and Patriot league teams.

I agree, these could be tough games but I think EWU matches up well with Sac State. If EWU wins in Sacramento they should win the rest of their games.

They have the talent and know how to pull it off. Sac State may give them a game depending on which team shows up, and PSU's pass defense has a tendency for breakdowns in coverage which EWU should be able to take advantage of. It will be up to the offensive line replacements to continue their development and get a few injured players back.

Haha, I remember saying after their fourth loss: "Watch them run the table and make the playoffs." ...I guess I was only half kidding.
Nothing is a gimme in the Big Sky, but that's close to as favorable a schedule you can ask for in their shoes.

Me likes this Doublenicks guy.
It will be very tough, unlikely, but possible.

No idea what the EWU OL situation will be like in 2 weeks, but expect a lot of blitzing.

NAU blitzed quite a bit in the beginning of that game and was pretty effective in pressuring Mitchell. Later on in the game our patchwork line started giving him better protection and NAU got smoked for some big plays.
As for winning out, I'll concede it's not very likely. Possible, yes, but not very likely. We need to get some dudes healthy, and quickly.

i think nau is still a good team. nau and wsu are quality wins for ewu. nau is 1-2 but have a tough stretch - montanas then sac. ewu will be 3-2 in big sky heading to sac state.

Hope you're right. We ain't throwing in the towel yet! We knew the schedule was going to be difficult this season, but it almost seems we scheduled ourselves out of the playoffs.

Going to be tough going, for sure. I see PSU and Sac as being the toughest opponents remaining on our schedule. First things first, gotta take care of business at home this weekend.
