WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Basketball driven, but may have a football impact as well.
“There are still so many uncertainties,” Tom Yeager, the Colonial Athletic Association commissioner, said. “I think everyone is trying to get a grip on where it’s going. We’re all studying the possibilities. The hardest thing is managing your own people to just not run through a lot of useless energy or getting overly worried about, ‘What are we doing?’ ”
Hofstra’s president, Stuart Rabinowitz, had reached out informally to Atlantic 10 members Charlotte, Richmond and George Washington, along with Boston University of the America East, to gauge their interest in joining the C.A.A., according to two people with knowledge of the talks.
I threw up in my mouth seeing BU's name in this article.

I don't trust anything Rabinowitz is leading. This guy's made it public that Hofstra wants into the A-10 and hates football, so why the fuck is Yeager allowing him to lead all these talks? I mean BU and George Washington? Are you effin kidding? Talk to Stony Brook. Hell, go for Albany or Fordham. Coastal Carolina even makes more sense.

I think many of us the America East felt Boston Univ would bolt eventually. Either to the CAA or the A-10. Possibly Vermont could go also. Their basketball program ia fairly strong the A-10 could be their new home. Time will tell. I'm surprised the CAA is talking to Boston U. They dont fit the profile all that well. No football, baseball or lacrosse . I could see them more an A-10 profile team.

BU and Hofstra are football poison. Anyone that takes football seriously does NOT want to be associated with either of them.

If the America East is looking for new members may I humbly offer this outstanding assortment of fine Universities.
Fordham, La Salle, St. Bonnaventures, and Duquesne. We'll even send folks to help you pack their equipment up. Judy Rose will take your AD's and University Presidents for dinner at the City Club and slip them each a $1000 for taking them off our hands.
No please! PLEASE TAKE THESE SCHOOLS!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!

The raiding will go on until the super conferences settle in at 16 teams each. Interesting future for college sports.

Thanks to the Big 4 conferences being pussies and not going to 16 teams, it has thrown every other conference across the country into turmoil. This could have been so much easier and less painful then it will end up being. It's gonna be REAL ugly for the Big East, Big 12, Mountain West and Conference USA. The A-10 and CAA will settle out eventually, but my thoughts are that the current members of the CAA would do well to sit tight for now..........you don't want to end up with the "ugly girl" at the prom when you already have a Mary Ann or Ginger on your arm.
