Isn't 2012 a 12 game season?

No. I believe Labor Day has to fall on the 1st. or 2nd. (it's on the 3rd.). 2013 and 2014 should be 12-game years.

If thats the case, Weber better get another FCS team to play that week, because if they schedule down, I will probably end up shooting somebody
I would like Montana State to show up on that schedule, but seeing as the game this year is in Ogden, MSU wont take 2 straight trips to Ogden.
How about a first ever matchup with North Dakota, I would like that.

i hope we schedule a big sky team as an ooc such as playing at MSU then get NAU to ogden. that would complete the 12 games. i would love to see big sky only and 1 fbs since wsu is poor. no non DI's PLEASE! and the only team in the west that isnt big sky that is fcs is san diego.

Looking at your sig. We are the only BSC team you guys have never played. 2014 is when we are scheduled to play Weber State in Grand Forks. Does Weber State have a good road fan base??

you will never see a good road fan base from any excpet maybe the montanas because you are unfortunately over 1,000 miles away from us and up to 2,000 miles away from some of the others. the best i have seen was 2,000 fans went to idaho st in 2008. but it is less than 2 hr drive. either wsu to isu or um to msu is the closest 2 schools in the league.

Uhhhhh.................................No
But I would like to see North Dakota come to Ogden next year.......we need another home game, and since we dont play you guys till 2014 at your house, I would like to see you guys as our 11th OOC game next year.

I hope UND and Weber State can play good matchups as we start Big Sky play. Its always good to make a first impression, and UND joining a very big conference like the Big Sky we know we have a tough job to try to get to the top in a short amount of time. To establish ourselves among the elite in the conference and not to wind up in the cellar with UNC, and ISU.

This will be a good match-up. Both are classy universities with excellent curriculums. UND will enjoy being in the Big Sky with its beautiful universities and magnificent Rocky Mountain surroundings. I’ve had several medical conferences in Ogden and it is a gem community. Conversely the Big Sky schools will enjoy coming to the heartland and seeing how these plains feed the world. I don’t believe any of the Big Sky schools sponsor hockey so I hope they all get an opportunity to check out the “Palace on the Prairie,” also known as the Ralph Engelstad Arena. I had a tour of it this spring, while attending the UND White Coating ceremony, and am eagerly awaiting seeing my first hockey game there this winter. It is an architectural marvel with over-the-top ambiance and fan comfort.

The closest school with hockey is Denver and Colorado College. DU has become a big rival to UND along with the Gophs and Badgers. I myself has never been to the Rockies and I know its beautiful country out there (better than seeing flat farmland here in the Valley). I have been to many hockey games in the Old REA, and a few in the new one. You will enjoy (barring a SIoux loss of course) the game and the atmosphere. Ralph new what he was doing when he built that arena. Wayne Gretzky called it one of the most beautiful buildings in North America. It is a sight!!

Unfortunately our schedule next season is full. Sept 15th we are at San Diego State, and Oct 27th we are at Montana State. The game we would love to get rid of is Aug 30th, as we host DII South Dakota Mines, but I see you play @ FSU. I am surprised you have 2 FBS teams on the schedule. Actually I just checked NDSU they need 1 more OOC game and Sept 15th is open. However their policy is 6 home games so I don't know if it would work.

$$$ is good. I am just glad UND is getting out of scheduling 2 FBS teams. In 2013 we actually have zero FBS teams, the first since joining the FCS in 2008.

That being said, I LOVE the BYU game on your schedule. Wish Montana would schedule from the likes of Wyoming/Idaho/Nevada/Boise State/Washington State/Fresno State/Oregon State/Utah/Colorado State/Utah State/. And NOT Iowa/Tennesee/etc....keep it regional. Weber does a great job of that.

Its funny how we have played regionally most of the time, then Boom, there is a game at Boston College
And speaking of Oregon State, Weber State is playing at OSU in 2015

that is true, it is good. saves on travel cost too. weber has utah and utah st in 2013.
personally i am against any fbs game on our schedule regardless of location. a loss is aloss. i would rather have just 1 fbs game since weber says it needs the money but not 2. so find one big payout and i dont care where it is. then add 2 big sky ooc games and you have a VERY good schedule.
of course an all fcs schedule would be a dream. in 2008 we finished 10-4 with 2 fcs losses (griz/ewu). we scheduled 2 non-DI's and 2 fbs. so an all fcs schedule it is possible we could have been 12-2 vs DI with the same out come in the quarterfinal in missoula (damn griz). who can beat the griz twice in one yr?

There are only 12 weeks on that schedule. One of them has to be a bye.
12-game years have 13 weeks. If Labor Day is on the 3rd., Thanksgiving is on the 22nd.; if Labor Day is on the 2nd., Thanksgiving is on the 28th. Playoffs always start Thanksgiving weekend.

If Weber can get a home game, I hope its after the BYU game, I like the bye before the Griz game.
I would like to see either a MVFC team or a Southland team in Ogden on Sept 5th. Or home to Portland State would work too
And of course Weber goes right back to having a freaking home game on OPENING ELK HUNT
