Actual standings today are the same as predicted. Whither the conference championship?

Conference leader Weber State plays AT Eastern Washington next week, hosts Southern Utah on 22 October, and travels to Montana the following week. Too early, of course, but what looks to be a possible conference championship match-up is scheduled for November 5th, when Montana State travels to Ogden.

Weber is #1 in the conference in scoring offense and total offense, while Montana State is #1 in total defense and scoring defense.

that SUU game is looking tougher and tougher this year, I guess its OOC, but looks to me like WSU has the toughest non conference schedule in the FCS this year.

Beating SUU is not essential for our playoff hopes. The important games for Weber are the conference games.

However, if we do run the table and win the conference outright, beating the T-Birds will give us a seed and home field advantage, which will increase our chances of getting to Frisco and bringing the title back to the Big Sky.
