All schools have them. Those delusional fans that think more of their program than just about everyone else.
Well it seems one Georgia State fan has taken it to another level. This is truly high comedy. This is in the same atmosphere of 6.93.
The following was taken from panthertalk.com and discussed (laughed at) at MonarchNation.com.

We need to announce FBS intentions. With conference realignment moving at the speed of light, and with FBS conferences like MAC eating our lunch in recruiting, the benefits of keeping a low profile are being overwhelmed by the disadvantages of not operating at the natural level of our school/program.

That's what you get when you have start-up team fans in the shadow of major programs. Like UTSA fans who said they would be able to compete for the FCS national championship THIS year

You sure it was a Georgia State fan? This post looks like lakesbison's post after NDSU beat Kansas. He talked about the MAC, WAC, Big 12 for NDSU. Maybe its a relative.

Where can I get those Dayton Football National Champions shirts that were flying around here a couple years ago. And that one San Diego fan who said Josh Johnson was the best QB in any level and would be an NFL star.

The delusional UTSA fans seem to have crawled back into their hole after they lost to Murry. The rational ones still post on the WAC board.

they play NAIA Bacone this week. If they win they'll probably be back.

I understand that its a big deal but to keep bragging about it for years afterwards makes no sense at all. I don't think you see JMU fans still bragging about their win over Virginia Tech, or William & Mary's win over Virginia or App. States win over Michigan....

I have to deal with a ton of that crap here in Portland, mainly from those who are "waiting" for us to become the next Boise State and join the WAC. Most of them have not attended a Vikings football game since Pokey Allen was coaching here. They all usually show the ignorance when they keep referring to the Big Sky conference as a strong DII conference. Those are the ones who you keep pointing out the facts and they tell YOU that YOU don't know what you're talking about.

sounds like the Tennessee fans before they played the Griz....then they went out and averaged 2.8 YPC against our DII defense.....
