Hampton @ Old Dominion sold out so the boxscore says the attendance was 19,818. But official attendance due to the terrible weather was more like 10,000.

Montana set a WaGriz record with 26,066, though a noticeable amount of season ticket holders were absent.

Delaware only got 18,011, even with $9 tickets and a fierce "rival".
Looks like FCS's longest string of years with 20K+ avg is in serious jeopardy. The natives are restless.

4,944 for Maine @ Albany.
Pretty much near capacity before lawn seating.
Nice pic of the new stadium in the lobby.
Construction to apparently start in December.

From what I remember and I assume you must think the same thing but Albany is definitely in need of a new stadium. I went up there for Giants training camp a few years ago and saw their stadium and was not impressed at all.

Appalachian Week 3 (second home game): 24,917
Last Year: 29,218
Over 2 home games in 2011 attendance is down over 11%.
Hope to see improvement next week against Chattanooga though I suspect the 2011 trend to continue (3rd home game last year against Elon - 31,531)

Just realized Southern's attendance last week was around 9K jumped up to 21K this week. with two home games left PVU (Should get between 9 and 14K depending on the team's record) and Alcorn (Homecoming/Rivalry game should draw at least 20K) the Jags should increase their attendance over last season's.

TXST capacity 16,008, attendance 15,800
(for a D2 game after getting hammered first 2 games)
Oh yeah, we won but it was ugly.

The announced attendance for JMU @ Liberty was just over 18,000 ... which surprised me I was expecting more than that considering this was their "super bowl" and the weather was nice ... but not quite a sellout for the Flames ... any FlameFans on here can weigh in on why that was ... I have no idea.

A full house (11,075) to see Cal Poly in their home opener against South Dakota State. I'm told it was far more than that in attendance but they can't officially count past capacity.
Nice win for the Mustangs

Youngstown State had 18,543 against Illinois State. Vocal crowd that made it very tough for Illinois State.

I don't see a sellout on the horizon for the ODU game, either.

Weber State home attendance for the SacState game was 8362, consistent with a mid-8k home attendance average for the past several years.
Above average, perhaps, but not in the top tier of FCS home attendance averages.

8,362 is decent considering a certain Holy War started at the same time

We have been in need of a new stadium for about 20 years. Our field now was built before we even had a football team in the late 60s and literally consists of wood bleachers bolted to the steps of a building. It's amazing we get 5,000 to a game when only 2,000 can see the whole field. And 2,000 might be generous.

MSU dropped about 1,500 on their average. I haven't talked to anyone around here yet, but I would of guessed they'd sell out every game this season. 14,500 or whatever it was seems very suprising
