CALIFORNIA HERE WE COME
Yale, which last played in the Golden State in 2005 at the University of San Diego, has another trip to California planned. On Oct. 5, 2013, the Bulldogs will play against Cal Poly Tech at San Luis Obispo. The only two games the Blue has played on the West Coast were against USD.

I went to the Griz game last year in Cal Poly...Fucking AWESOME.

I can't believe they actually blew the name like that.

My smack on CP is bad enough, but it's clearly smack. THIS is just plain ignorance that one wouldn't expect of an Ivy. The sports branding is "just" Cal Poly, for crying out loud. And if they REALLY want the full name of the school, it's California Polytechnic State University. (It's all one word, in other words.)

Do your homework, Yale.

On the other hand, at least Yale's not trying to sell us supposedly designer handbags.

"Cal Poly Tech".....hilarious. Cal Poly in the Big Sky and with a home game with Yale, how cool is that. I'm heading to SLO for that one for sure.

Over on the Ivy forum some posters were surprised they actually had a football team, had them confused with Caltech.
