That idiot moderator xjohnx most likely banned anyone from schools having football teams in an effort to promote ideological purity among VCU, Drexel, GMU, and UNC-w fans.

The last two front page headline articles with picture were Towson and the ODU's quarterbacks. Pissed someone off royally!

You have to credit the CAA Zone shutdowns though. It was a shutdown in the late summer a few years ago that produced the mass exodus of UD posters from that site to GoHens.

Yes, and this time, they said this upgrade would be before football season...

But the admin is a GMU guy, so maybe he really doesn't know.

Heck. That's when they will come back. They will be stampeding for the exits at around 2:15 EST on 9-24-11. Blue feathers everywhere.
BTW, is this some sort of UD student or alumni group?

Don't know why you think it's Delaware related. Sounds like something more from the Tidewater Peninsula.

The term Fightin' Blue Hens was coined by none other than George Washington during the Revoultionary War.

Why? Is your tailgate menu going to be that bad?

Prime example of why I been saying for several years (everytime we've had a shut down during summer camp or early season why JMU needs its own message board run by JMU people, not a page on a CAA board run by Mason folks.

No excuse for doing an upgrade during the season. :ohno: Any upgrades should be done during the offseason during the winter after Frisco (but not the week of signing date), or during late Spring (after Spring ball) or early summer....

It's their website...not yours...that's their excuse (and a legit one). And honestly, does it really matter if you're cut off from your virtual friends for a few hours or days?

Which is my whole point- JMU needs its own message board like Go-Hens, Mountaineer Message Board, E-Griz, etc, etc.

Is ODU not real big on message boards? They don't get a ton of action on the CAAZone & I saw the Monarch Forum or whatever its called & that is even more dead.

No, we have a protected message board that none of you can access. MN is just the one y'all get to see.

Truth is that we are still transitioning from a basketball school to one that has football (notice I didn't say "football school"). Since the basketball program competes at the highest level, and the football program competes at the "second" level, I think many fans may be having a hard time adjusting to the details. In basketball, we can disect 10 players to the nth degree. It is harder to do in football because there are many more players and football success is more team oriented (i.e. can't get good rushing yardage without a good line, one player doesn't usually take over a game, etc.). Plus, the fact that we have a lot of blowout wins against weak competition, we are all in a wait and see mode. Once CAA play begins, I think we can better measure our team and players and get into our "analysis" more. If it is anything like basketball, the longest threads will come when we lose. This is a direct result of our expectations. We are still in the honeymoon phase with football, and any rational fan is not expecting success, just enjoying the play to date.
