Sacramento State is coming into this game 1-1 having a great upset over Oregon State of the Pac 12, then a letdown vs future BSC member Southern Utah (a good one at that).
The Wildcats are playing in thier home opener under the lights and on thier brand new field. the Cats come in at 0-2 after a respectable loss to Wyoming and a good first half vs USU before getting blown away

.
The Wildcats are hungry for thier first win and the Hornets are ready to prove once again how good they really are.
I can easily see this game going either way, and If the Weber team that showed up in the 2nd half vs USU, Sac will get thier first ever win in Ogden. If the WSU team that played those 6 good quarters vs thier FBS foes shows up, I would say Weber wins.
In a Close and hard fought smash fest, Weber wins by 7 24-17

Well, if that's the case we can probably put a fork in Weber at that point....

Do they allow forks down there? To be safe, lets just stick to spoons.

Grizz, I'm pretty sure they do. I'd imagine it's pretty hard to eat all that hypocrisy with a spoon.

This one's going to be too close to call but Weber may have a slight advantage being 0-2 and being at home. I'm interested in seeing how Weber will play against an actual FCS team after two straight to FBS teams.

I expect a good close game. If we play like we did last week we'll be lucky to win 4 games this season. That said I don't expect us to play as bad two weeks in a row. Fleming and the WR's were off all game, that can't (and I hope doesn't) happen again.

Weber is gonna have to make some serious adjustments on the defensive side of the ball, especially the run defense.
All in all I cant wait for Saturday night under the lights of Stewart Stadium, this series between these 2 teams is always a hard fought game.

I never would have predicted a Weber State blowout, our offense looked great and what an improvement for our defense. I think the road is getting to Sac, they are a better team than they showed today.
Wildcats win 49-17

SD mentioned in the score tracker thread that it appeared to him that Sac came in with no gameplan. There may be something to that, but at the very least, the staff is guilty of a MAJOR failure to make proper halftime adjustments. At halftime, the game was relatively close, and both teams were alternating with struggling and busting big plays, but SOMETHING happened at halftime that busted this one wide open for the Wildcats.
Chalk this one up to your coaches, boys. Sure, your athletes whipped us good in the second half and EARNED this win. But your staff sure did a good job of setting them up for success.

Sac didnt look like they had thier hearts in it, to me it looked like Hilliard was the only Hornet who wanted to win.
Im thinking the Hornets just cant wait to get home.

Ryan, you can go ahead and change that 11-5 in your signature now.

I did, they were 10-5 over Sac, they are now 11-5 over Sac and 8-0 vs the Hornets in Ogden.
I also changed Weber's overall wins vs BSC teams from 162 to 163
