I didn't vote this week, but I think i'd have put SDSU in and Weber in ahead of a couple of those lower ranked teams.

This poll doesn't look all that bad.

I would have had ASU a lot lower... I think it is important watching how these teams do against FBS teams. 85% of the time the teams lose, but it is how they lose which is important to me. Appy got crushed and their fans seemed awful upset from what I read.

I did not expect them to beat V-Tech, but they got absolutely crushed.

UNI, Stony Brook, Sacramento State, Richmond, Youngstown State, and Eastern Kentucky looked the best in the FCS-FBS games this weekend. If I missed anyone, just post it on here.

I don't agree with the movement of SFA compared to New Hampshire.

Eastern Washington played a very good game against the Washington Huskies and if they would have had fewer turnovers would have won the game.

Agreed. I dropped them 8 spots from 4 to 12. Same with W&M.

Like goyotes mentioned, you forgot possibly the best game outside of Sac's upset of OSU, in EWU/UW. Committed 4 turnovers yet still almost won it. 70 yard drive in the final minute with no timeouts, only to be picked off in the endzone. 473 yards passing by BLM. 17 of UW's 30 points were short-field turnovers by us. We doubled them in total yardage.

NDSU was ranked in the top 5 when they were not eligible...during their transition...didn't stop anybody from voting for them...

So, what's different now???

The difference was that they were an unstoppable force, and they completely captivated the eyes and hearts of the entire nation.

No kidding. Beating a Pac-12 team vs getting steam rolled by a MAC one. Hmm...

First thing I notice is that NDSU is too high @ #6. The rest looks pretty good though!

So, this poll isn't based on performance, but is nothing more than a popularity contest...

So, if UMass defeats ranked teams, we should not expect to see any votes...

Got it.... :coffee:

Of course it is a popularity contest. How else can anyone explain the 39 points for Old Dominion.

Wow. New Hampshire at 14 after getting hammered by Toledo? Sac State at 16 after beating Oregon State? Nope.

Toledo is a lot better than most people realize. With that said, their reputation certainly helps. We'll see how they do against Lehigh on Saturday.

Looks to me like SFA got rewarded for putting a beatdown on a transitioning D3 but SBU and Weber got punished for losing to an FBS (just barely, I might add). SAM got little love for beating a team they lost to last year. I think they're going to surprise people this year. (then again, I could be wrong)

Hey, I'm entitled to bitch too.

Sorry I'm not doing it this year, got too many pans on the fire
