Sports Network Predicts Delaware Win over NAVY:

What to know: Last season, Delaware was 17 minutes away from being crowned FCS champion, until Eastern Washington stormed back from a 19-0 deficit - aided by a controversial spot on fourth down - to steal the victory, 20-19

The last time Navy and Delaware met, the Midshipmen pulled off a similar trick to Eastern Washington, scoring 21 fourth-quarter points to blow a close game wide open.

In typical Navy fashion, this game will feature a heavy dose of the running game, as the Midshipmen will introduce a new quarterback at the helm of the triple option, while Delaware will be looking for big things from Andrew Pierce, who rushed for 1,655 yards and 14 touchdowns as a freshman.

Prediction: Delaware 32, Navy 31 (OT)

I wouldn't be surprised. I said months ago that I think UDel has a great chance to upset Navy. There not a great passing team so you should be able to load the box to stop their triple option.

Perfect. UD over Navy and later.......ODU over UD.

If I had to pick one FCS/FBS upset this week, this would be the one.

with a 7-8 record against Navy it doesnt seem like this would be much of an "upset" at all.

While Navy loyalty constrains me to predict a Middie win, there is much evidence for this. Anyone predicting a Navy blowout is full of it, and a Delaware win is NOT out of the question.
