When the Leopards, or Pards as they are known by the home fans, take the field at the Fabulous Fargo Dome next Saturday night make no mistake a good football game is brewing. They pose a threat and The BISON need to focus and take care of business.JBB wrote:Most Probable Score:

The Padres will bring experience and they also have leadership in the younger players.
The biggest name is probably ONeil, their QB. It is reported ha has had a good fall practice and is ready for a great Senior year. Combine that with his experienced receiver corps and you probably have the heart and soul of the offense.
The running backs are good, solid players. They wont be accustomed to the hitting they are going to experience from the physical BISON defense and the likelihood they have a breakout day is low defense will be putting a lot of pressure on the Pards passing game.
This is a game that could go south fast for the visiting Pards. They have several things stacked against them before the kickoff:
1) Long hard road trip and no experience with that routine
2) Big crowd expected. Low estimates show a solid 15,000 others expect 18,000 +. Although they are experienced this will be one of the largest crowds of the year for Lafayette.
3) NDSU depth and overall talent level
4) Coaching
I think you should look to NDSUs win over Robert Morris as a good guide to this game. That was a solid, hard fought win, closer than the 43-17 score indicates.
There is talk the game will not sell out. Most openers have had over 18,000. Last year was the first time in a long time the opener had less. This year may follow that trend. It hurts when students arent around. You have to count students at the turnstile and promo tickets for that matter. All the others can be counted in attendance if they are sold.Scooter 1 http://www.bisonville.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24354&page=2 wrote:Thanks for your input. I believe one of your colleagues posted that you use needs based financial aid which would be the equivalent of about 50 scholarships.
I'll agree in general, game is close in the first half and Bison take or increase lead in 2nd half.Twentysix wrote:Lafayette leads by atleast 3 at some point in the game, probably early second quarter.
NDSU wins by 14 or 17.
Lets say 31-14.
NDSU passes for 135 yds runs for 297. Both DJ and Sam break 100 yds.
We leave the game still not knowning if our passing game sucks.

I was under the impression that every NDSU BISON CONGLOMERATE game was a sell out and tickets are not available.....what is the deal here?JBB wrote:There are tickets available for this game from http://www.gobison.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. You can still get on the 50 but you will be at the top of the Dome. Its a long hike up. You can get endzone too, but all of the seats are high up.
Didn't realize this thread had been taken over by the Montana Conglomerate of JBB and Company.Grizalltheway wrote:No ****, Mr. Irrelevant.Gil Dobie wrote:

Here is the Scoring Alert insight:
Some of the schools that have fans commenting on this board play in high school stadiums. The difference between something like that and the Fabulous Fargo Dome must get some of these kids a little off their game. The only stadium out west that can be considered an equal of the Fabulous and Prestigious Fargo Dome is Washington Grizz. That of couse is an outdoor stadium cobbled together over a generation or so but still an exciting deal for western teams.
The Fabulous Fargo Dome is a football facility. A single concept sports arena. Considering quality and size it is more typical of eastern football facilities that are scaled to FCS/FBS not D2 or high school. That is why I am only giving one point for home field to the BISON.
In Fargo, a "sellout" actually means "tickets available on the 50 yard line".grizzaholic wrote:I was under the impression that every NDSU BISON CONGLOMERATE game was a sell out and tickets are not available.....what is the deal here?JBB wrote:There are tickets available for this game from http://www.gobison.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. I didn't even know the site had an ignore function, not that I would ever use it.DJH wrote:He has me on "ignore", yet still responds.![]()
