after reading some commentary, it's actually quite smart of a decision if App is in the process of going FBS. Yeah they may lose by 50, but they'll have money to get them out of the financial hole and publicity for recruiting.

The ASU @ McNeese game previously scheduled for the same date will be moved back a few weeks to the end of September.
Win-win for us. We get a highly-publicized game with Michigan, a lot of money, and we don't have to play in Lake Charles in August.

I would tend in this direction as the game will most likely get major hype in the media, and UM will be looking for major payback. I'm an FCS fan first....If UNI were to ever play Michigan I'd go in a UNI shirt....something that most Iowa fans that go to UNI games against other FCS teams can't say.
