Feel free to post comments or corrections. Also feel free to bitch and whine about me not giving your team enough cred.

Yes, we Hornet fans are rather proud of this guy. Between SD, Kadeezy, and SacRat, we have a pretty reliable corps of team commentators.

Pretty good job, there. One thing, tho. While it is no secret that we are trying to get the Willamette game replaced, as of now nothing has been done and we are still scheduled to play them 10-22. Western has not replaced them on our official schedule (yet).

Minor technicality. All else looks fine. :thumb:

Interesting, Jalmond, because Griz fans on egriz are bleating on about how it would be uncool to change schedules this late and get rid of the Western Oregon game on 11/5 and replace it with either SUU or USD (both of whom have openings on that date)....claim that because all the posters and magnets and crap have been printed it'd be a bad thing to do...

FYI, clenz: I am the administrator for SacBuzz. As such, recognition of poster talent is within my purview. While we don't always agree, I do not censor SD as a dummy like Ralph would, because that would diminish the quality of our board. We have many good people on our board, and SD is just about at the top of the list.

It is one thing to take a pretty vanilla non-conference slate of FBS, FCS and DII and try to change it this late, that is true. However, when your non-conference is currently FBS, NAIA and DIII as Portland State's schedule currently is, one should be working as late as possible to improve it, my opinion only of course. I would love to see us get closer to the typical FCS non conference schedule of FBS, FCS and DII.

Blech. That's what we have and I HATE it. One you CAN'T win and one that it doesn't MATTER if you win. You've reduced yourself to a 9-game season and must go 7-2 to get into the playoffs. Better off scheduling San Diego every year...at least they COUNT. :ohno:

Or importing other PFL teams - oh for a bevy of Jacksonville/Campbells in the west...(teams that Western Oregon or Fort Lewis would beat themselves.

Maybe all of us in the BSC can have San Diego on some sort of standard rotation because after this year, it is going to get harder to schedule any FCS with Davis, CP and SUU entering the conference.

It sounded like you wanted to slam SD. If that was not your intention, then I apologize. Of course, we claim Sac State as our home team. But I'm going to defend my guys, even though they really don't need it. SD could beat you in any board contest anyone could come up with.

Me? Not so much.

I've got a board contest I run...I've come in the top 5 both years so far. He, and you for that matter, are welcome to challenge me. SD could definitely give me a run for my money, if not beat me....I would doubt at "any board game" though....I'm pretty damn good at Life and battle of the sexes.

My post had zero to do with SD though.

I'm trying to figure you out. What is your favorite team?

Where do I start?

For college football (current teams, anyway), Sac is #1, and Liberty is a close second.

For pro football, I'm all about the Cowboys, the Stampeders, the Rattlers, and the Sirens. I also kinda-sorta follow the Chargers (adopted from my Navy days), but can't stand how the owner is running the team.

For MLB, I'm for the Reds and Padres.

For college VB, it begins and ends with UOP.

For pro hoops, the only team I follow anymore (and even that isn't very much) is the Kings. I preferred the Monarchs (better on-court performance) until the owners disbanded the team. I used to follow the Lakers, but quit them when they brought in Kobe and Klanq Fu (BTW, that's a Rome-ism).

For hockey, I like the Mighty Ducks and the Flames.

For track, I'm a huge fan of Stacy Dragila. For motor sports, it's Danica Patrick. I hardly ever follow golf, but I'd rather watch old footage of Jack Nicklaus than ANYTHING involving Tiger Woods. I also like Juli Inkster.

For wrestling, I'm a huge fan of Hulk Hogan, Chyna, and Stacy Keibler.

That's about all I can think of right now. If you have any other specific sports in mind, I'd be happy to answer.

Um....the Mighty Ducks no loner exist...and haven't for a couple years. I'd think a fan would know that.

I would bet NEVER POSTING ON THIS SITE AGAIN - WITH ANY NAME - that the Kings would wipe the floor with the Monarchs, or any WNBA team.

You should know by now, clenz, that I very rarely buy name changes. I'm a fan of that team from its inception. I never gave up the name.

How do you explain conferences?

Also that is a dumb way to do things.

Fixed. I used an old schedules file I had when I helped with the schedules here. It's been a while since I went back and looked at the updated stuff.

I refuse to get into any battles SH tries to thrust me into.

Excellent work. You can see a change in the generational power structure of the BSC. Its happening in other conferences too.

As an add-on, I think its wonderful the folks scheduling Montana are starting to realize the value of the NDSU scheduling model and all the hidden costs to the inter-divisional model used by so many Big Sky Schools. I like to think that bringing the issue to the forefront here will help other schools, in addition to Montana, become aware of this issue.
