Southern U gets games with UGA and New Mexico

in 2012 Southern will travel to New Mexico (payout $350,000) and Georgia in 2015 (payout $650,000)

At this point with some of the improvements the school is trying to make, that money is needed.

ABQ would be a good trip - especially if you had extra time to go to Santa Fe, Taos, etc.

That's interesting. Sounds like there may be a change in philosophy with the deminse of the previous athletic director. I live in the Baton Rouge area and listen to the "Jaguar Journal" show form time to time. Over recent years it seemed that Southern did not want to schedule too many "payday" games.
Hopefull another thing we'll see is scheduling at least a few non conference games against Southland teams again.
