The blog is part of the San Jose Mercury News serves a 1,000,000 populous.

I didn't put Montana in the title so no one would cry but it is about both schools.

I hope neither move up. I like the current and future big sky. If they have to move up I will miss them.

Wow. Talk about a bogus post. It doesn't say anything about the Montana schools joining or mention 7/1/12 as a join date. All it said was that the author specualted the WAC was still eyeing the Montana schools.

well i thought the title of this thread was more interesting than....some blogger is hoping UM n MSU move up so SJSU isn't screwed when wac crumbles.

i have been following the utah state forum and they seem to think that griz n cats are going to announce joining the wac after the coming fcs playoffs.

You may want to inquire of them where the info. is coming from? When you are seeing this by SJSU or UT State fans you can kind of see why they are discussing it and holding out hope.

Do they also say Just Montana or just MT State may accept? If they do then you know you are dealing with someone that is very uneducated on the matter.

You might also let them know that a mofority of MT fans want nothing to do with the WAC and can not se the benefit of that move in any way, shape, or form and see what they reply with.

Anything to sneak those upstarts from the Dakotas in to a thread ostensibly about something else. Just can't stand being left alone.

One day you have to come around and realize that NDSU WILL NOT be going FBS for a very very very very very very very....VERY long time...if ever. There is no point to do so. I would rather be playing for national championships than the Mac N Cheese Bowl. Plus, the WAC is an incredible downgrade...what even makes you think of a possibility of this happening?

Anyway, no way MSU goes to the WAC..I don't think they are that dumb.
