Oh yeah.

The atmosphere is crazy.

Could sell 12,000 student tickets before even getting into the non student crowd, and thats when homecoming follows a down year.

We have a tendancy to lose homecoming.

Old Dominion is hosting Towson.
Yes, I am going.
Pre-game atmosphere is as good as the top I-A schools (but I'll let non-ODU fans that attended games attest).
Game atmosphere is OK. Expecting it to be better with quality competition and more meaningful games.
Attendance will be between 20,000 and 21,000 (Sell out).

Northern Colorado
Hopefully, but the tickets will be pricey and hard to come by now that I'm not a student. :(
Umm, it's WAGRIZ. Maybe a pic would help explain?
Probably the biggest of the season outside fo Griz/Cat.

Who is your team playing? Prairie View
Are you going? yes
How is the atmosphere at your your school? it's great, week long celebration, different events every day. You have to get on campus 3 to 4 hours early or you'll be stuck on the bridge for the whole game.

How about the attendance? sell out pretty much every year

Who is your team playing? Colgate

Are you going? Yep

How is the atmosphere at your your school? With parking lot I usually go to being closed for construction of the new TigerArena, I guess I'll be up the hill where the tent parties and Kids Zone are. So pretty good, for Towson.

How about the attendance? I'd venture to bet 8-9K show up, Colgate isn't a big rival, so meh.

bonus question for all: does your homecoming attendance depend on the opponent? Or will it draw well regardless?

Does your school play an easy game? A rival? Random opponent?

Who is your team playing? Coastal Carolina
Are you going? Absolutely
How is the atmosphere at your your school? Phenomenal. Great tailgating, with festivities starting early morning.
How about the attendance? Should be a very loud capacity crowd. 19,200ish.

Tailgating involves drinking, the same drinking which is outlawed at Liberty

Who is your team playing? Samford

Are you going? Yes.

How is the atmosphere at your your school? One of the worst atmospheres every year it seems like. Huge crowds... but, everyone seems out of the game and quiet. Parents visiting, higher ratio of old gray hairs = crappy atmosphere.

How about the attendance? Usually one of our best, numbers-wise, every year.

Crowd is so quiet and out of the game to me on homecoming. Elon last year was a great game... competitive, high scoring, back-and-forth... but QUIET as hell. I dunno, like I said... homecoming is really well attended... but, a lame atmosphere (relatively).

Harvard doesn't have a homecoming game. I don't think Yale or Princeton do, eitther.

Who is your team playing? EWU.

Are you going? I hope so. Went to last years HC against UNC.

How is the atmosphere at your your school? Electric. The tailgating was awesome and the University had a lot of events centered around the HC game.

How about the attendance? We had about 9k last year. (I think we had over 10k, the home side was almost completely full and there were some folks on the visitor’s side as well.) The only other higher attended game is the Causeway which is usually over 16k.

Sorry to steal the 10 questions guy's thunder but I'm just killing time during this dead period.

St. Franics, PA
Always there
It's going to be crazy as this will be the 1st ever home night game in Robert Morris history
It will be a sell out with talks about temporary seats added...maybe reaching 5K?

Even without the drinking we're 1 of the loudest and most hostile places to play in all of the FCS :thumb:

Who is Your team playing: Coastal Carolina (who we have crushed the last two times they have come to Lynchburg...both for homecoming)
Are you going: Certainly planning to unless I get a job out of town
How is the atmosphere at your your school? Its a full weekend experience and Liberty football (even without the alcohol SENOREIDA) is becoming one of the best football atmospheres at the FCS level in the state
How about the attendance? I'll go so far as to say that we could break 20,000 especially if the Flames are on a major roll coming into the game

StonyBrook hosts Lafayette Sept 24th. Always a good crowd -usually high 6k attendance. I'm surprised by two things -the game is at 6pm usually it is 3 or 3:30 and it is about two weeks early. But looking forward to it by all means. Should be a good one!
