The subject has been pounded flatter than a pancake for at least 2 years.

TT seems like the internet guy that throws a bunch of sh*t at the wall and hopes that one sticks. And when one does, he claims "he told you so."

Not an all wet idea at all, yes go with both North Dakota schools, bring in Division II Grand Valley State, and Minnesota Duluth, throw in the two South Dakotas and maybe Idaho and you got yourself a WAC of the Upper Middle North West.
The champion of this new conference could square off with the second place team from the WAC, or the third place team from the MWC in a late season bowl hosted by whatever team in the newly aligned UMNWAC that has the best, loudest, and coldest stadium.

That's a footprint from Michigan to 14 paces from Washington - and four time zones. Ideal.

Yep, a shit conference. Just like the WAC is and has been. Is Allendale Mi in the Eastern time zone? I know Pocatello Id is in the Mountain time zone. Looks like maybe only the Mountain and Central on this span??
The WAC was running from Louisana to Hawaii was it not?

Yep, a **** conference. Just like the WAC is and has been. Is Allendale Mi in the Eastern time zone? I know Pocatello Id is in the Mountain time zone. Looks like maybe only the Mountain and Central on this span??
All of the southern peninsula of MI is eastern time zone and Moscow, ID, the home of the Univ. of Idaho, is in the Pacific time zone.
The WAC was running from Louisana to Hawaii was it not?
All of MI is eastern time zone and Moscow, ID, the home of the Univ. of Idaho, is in the Pacific time zone. In between are the two you reference. That adds up to four.
No one I know was happy with the travel requirements of the WAC and it contributed to its lack of unity and its implosion. It was a definate inhibitor for prospects like Montana. The BSC now encompasses three time zones; pretty awful for those FCS travel budgets. And don't expect many fans to travel between Flagstaff or San Luis Obispo and Grand Forks.

It'd never work anyway, JBB won't let North Dakota in.
