N KY makes sense. But I don't get the logic behind N AL.
EDIT: This makes 11 for football and 13 for hoops, unless this is an associate for football deal. This doesn't make much sense at all. Super-conferences are bad at the FCS level since there's no championship game to go for (the only reason to shot over 9 for football). For hoops, there are too many teams to adequately play everybody, and playing everyone is out for football.
I wanna see the logic here. Is somebody leaving?

Are you fucking serious? UNA is in the footprint and a nice travel partner with Jacksonville St. (also in Alabama). They have football and NKU does not. They make more sense. Adding both also gets them to 10 in fb and 14 over all. Much easier than scheduling for 13 schools.

I was striclty looking at geography. I didn't realize that N KY didn't play football. Given the dearth of pub about them, it could have been merely that they stink at it. As far as JSU goes, given the other Jacksonvilles (FL, NC), it isn't a given that one would intuitively know that they were in AL. There's no call for the over-the-top curse shot here, FSA.

If you don't know what you're talking about, don't make comments and post about it. Why do you think we all make fun of you? You do this all the time.
Even if you couldn't figure out that JSU was in AL and not Fla or NY or CA, you should still know that the northern border of Alabama (UNA is in Florence AL, not Florence Italy, just in case you're thinking that) is also the southern border of Tennessee.(the state that has the most OVC schools)

Like a guy repping a team that just picked up a sucky transfer who washed out at a school on a downturn has any room to talk.

Florida on a "down turn" greater than a ton of schools. If he ends up being trouble they cut him, if he's good, good move for UNA, pretty simple. That other guy that got kicked out of Florida worked out pretty well for Auburn last year. Florida 2 bball and 2 fb titles in the 2000's, I'll take the good w/ the bad.
You make no sense, I do, that gives me room to talk. I sure hope you never finished school at Sac St. because if the Prez of the school read your posts he/she would take back your diploma. It's frightening to think that the CSU system allowed you into one of their schools. SDHornet has to post as much as possible to counter all of your nonsense, so that Sac St. won't get a bad name.
PS explain to me how me saying UNA is a good fit over the OVC has anything to do w/ UNA getting a transfer student from Fla?

I think ole super hornet may have been partaking of a lot of Independence Day celebration favorites. Yes we are in Alabama, only 120 miles from Nashville, 196 to Cookeville, 152 to Martin, 159 to Murray, 174 to Clarksville and 146 miles to Jacksonville, Al. Yes we are FAR out of the OVC footprint.

Who is he a fan of? Let me guess. One of the schools who wanted Jenkins.

Who said anything about Florida? I was speaking a bit closer to home, FSA. Try Allen Huddleston.

Oh oh, a basketball player from UOP that transferred to Fresno St. that has even more to do w/ UNA going to the OVC.
Fresno has made the tourney and even made the sweet 16, Sac St. has never made the D-I tourney. Any other whoppers relevant to the OVC adding UNA and NKU?

It seems to me the OVC just strengthened BB with Belmont and football with North Alabama. UNA is a quality school with athletic programs that have been to the heights of D2 in football, basketball and volleyball. They've also made it to the D2 World Series and the soccer program is on a swift rise. How could this NOT BE a good thing for the OVC?

Sounds like the same logic as applied to the BSC - none.

Good point.
Someone thinks that UNA will "strengthen" the OVC for football. That remains to be seen. Of course, it ALSO remains to be seen that UND and SUU "strengthen" the Sky. (Of course, I think a case could be made that THOSE two actually WEAKEN the Sky, but that's beside the point.

)

Sometimes you need to learn to shut the fuck up.
You were caught talking out your ass about something you clearly don't know shit about...seems to happen a lot....and got called on it. Move along to the next thread

Maybe, maybe not. The point remains that FSA is a bully. Is he the worst here? Not by a long shot. But a bully nonetheless.

Here is a map I pulled from Wiki that lists the OVC teams and their locations. I've added NKU and NAU
As you can see N. Alabama is much more in the footprint than Jax St., and really no more out of the footprint of the OVC than SDSU, USD, NDSU in the MVFC. Hell, they are more in the OVC footprint than YSU is in the MVFC footprint.

SH is a student...albeit online student....of Liberty.

Holy shit... I also just realized that the chick that "played" kicker for Jax State is in SH's hall of fame - he states so in his signature....and he doesn't know where the damn school is?
It would...hell does...take a 3 second google search if nothing else.

My apologies. I hate it when people do that to UNI. I will make sure all future references are UNA.

learn how to count, OVC will have 10 fb members and 14 total members by adding both. Morehead St. plays fb in the PFL so they don't count as OVC fb.
