Does your team still take the freight elevator up to the field level in the UNIDome? I always thought that was cool... I remember playing you guys in the playoffs several years ago and the team emerged from the elevator and it was like gladiators coming into the Colosseum.
Someone told me you guys didn't have it anymore, that's why I ask.

There is no "up to field level". Field level is ground level.

I'm guessing by "freight elevator", you mean that corridor behind the "garage door" (which also has a "garage door" on the other side, leading to the outside. 'tis how freight/equipment/etc. is hauled in/out of the dome, but it is not an elevator). In which case, yes, they still enter through there.
and yes, I, too, am partial to their manner of entrance.

$hit, my bad. Yeah, they came out from behind that garage door--- and I was told at the time that it was a freight elevator that discharged behind the door. Guess that ought to teach me to check my sources (it was from a UNI guy... musta thought it was a joke that I took seriously).
Had it been an elevator as I was told, that would have been extra-cool
