No, I'm not a porn spammer…
Montana State starting senior RB Orenzo Davis was ruled academically ineligible for the 2011 season. He was originally ruled ineligible in January, then reinstated in February. He ran for 1126 yards last season, which ranked third in the Big Sky (fifth in ypg).
He hasn't redshirted, so his college career may not necessarily be over.

Dumb. Apparently appealing. Good thing we have some depth at RB and a good freshman coming in. Frustrating, though.

Yep, EWU definitely #1 in the coaches/media preseason poll.

NDSU is losing our little speed back Mike Sigers to academic issues too, so we can relate. The loss of Sigers will hurt, probably more on special teams. He had four blocked kicks last year and a few kick off returns for TD's. I hear you guys have a stud freshmen coming in.....where is he out of and what kind of stats did he put up?

I'd rather watch the OTHER Shawn Johnson.

I think that MSU is going to try to redshirt Shawn Johnson. They will give him a shot at returning punts and kickoffs right from the get go because he was really known for that in high school. He split time but still averaged around 8-10 yards a carry.
MSU's run game will change quite a bit by featuring a lot more between the tackle runs and resemble what Weber State has run the last couple of years.
