Just what is it with the Chatty fans all of the sudden? They go 6-5 one year and all of the sudden they are the class of the SoCon and talking smack to GSU fans. Just when the Elon fans were starting to get silent, we have to deal with this bunch.

It's like NDSU fans here.

It always happens when a team has had a decent season and challenges the standing powers in a conference. I've seen EWU do ti, then Weber do it, then EWU do it again. EWU was the only one that actually stepped up and took over the reins. It's good because the excitement for a team that's been second fiddle can make things very interesting on the boards. Keeps it fresh.

Chatty was just a handful of points away from being a contender last season. They've had nothing to cheer about for years, so I guess they're due.

it wasn't all that long ago we were #12 in the country heading to boone.........trip didn't go so well

I watched a replay of your team playing Arizona the other night.

I thought they did a fine job talking about your school and had some very nice short films about campus life and history of the school.

watching us run the option was VERY painful at times last season. Ol FU and I saw two of our running backs run right into each other TWICE when he hosted me at vermin. hopefully this year will be better.

You will find that NDSU has demonstrated it can contend over the generations. The "uppity" fans are the ones looking at NDSUs season last year and dismissing it as a fluke. The smart ones, only 1 or 2 so far, know that NDSU is force to reckon with. Bill Fette changed the world of college football but he cant hold off the Herd forever.

I happen to know what NDSU is capable of and have recognized we are now in the 4th Dynasty of BISON Football. We are also playing where it matters in the central, with an eye toward the east and building relationships there. Thats why we have the Big Dakota 3: NDSU, SDSU and USD. Other D1 schools from the Dakotas have marganilized their programs by looking west, well its not as simple as that, but they were forced west by other things they have done to marginalize themselves. Its only proper they are not included in the excitement of competing with the Dakota Big 3.

Seriously, there HAS to be something in the water over there. The pathological hatred of UND from some NDSU fans alone is beyond anything you see from UM/MSU, GSU/ASU, or VU/UD... it is something a team of psychologists need to start investigating Coupled with the omnipresent superiority complex, paranoia (Fette), threatening government officials, etc. NDSU fan complex? If that's not a thing, I'm inventing it right now. Wikipedia page TBA
