Looks like a kid that lives in my folk's neighborhood might get the nod for starting center. We lost a lot from last season, and a lot of key positions this season are seniors. :ohno:

Keep an eye on the development of your OL. McClain is a better coach than Shawn Elliott and I don't even hesitate to say that. I'll bet money McClain gets scooped up quicker than Elliott did by the BCS because of it.

From what I have seen and heard I wonder why they don't have Lamm and Bostick at tackles with Frye and Ruff at guard while putting a bigger kid like Fisher at center. Regardless of what McClain does you can trust him to put out a very good OL.

Yeah, McClain seems to be pretty good. Do you think he was a big reason behind Kilgore getting drafted? Seems like he made huge improvements and came out of nowhere getting NFL interest. Would never have guessed it last offseason.

I can tell you 100% that McClain was the reason. Kilgore was 270 pounds and not even being recommended to NFL teams when Elliott left and by the time November had come around I was hearing 5th-6th round on Kilgore and being told that he was considered ASU's best prospect by some teams. McClain actually teaches technique and is more than a motivator thus he was able to develop Kilgore so fast.

You should also pat Mike Kent on the back for the turnaround as well. Kent is excellent at what he does.
