I'd say the top teams are set in stone with no more home games for the Griz and no games period for anyone else.
Congrats to Montana in leading the overall attendance count for the year with 215,308 fans filling a seat in Washington-Grizzly Stadium.
Average Attendance (Games):
1. Appalachian State - 25,161 (8)
2. Montana - 23,923 (9)
3. Delaware - 21,609 (6)
4. Jackson State - 21,263 (4)
5. South Carolina State - 18,355 (4)
6. Georgia Southern - 18,168 (6)
7. North Dakota State - 18,032 (6)
8. Harvard -17,360 (5)
9. Southern - 16,323 (4)
10. Tennessee State - 15,444 (5)
James Madison is currently in 11th place (15,285) and can probably jump the Tigers with a strong showing this weekend.

You're lookin' at it. The PDF was updated yesterday by the NCAA.

JMU can crack the top ten, but the top 5 are signed, sealed, and delivered.

No, I mean just the playoff games. Like what was App St.'s attendance figures for JUST the playoffs? Same with JMU, Montana.....
I am just curious to see if this years figures are lower or higher than previous years.

Ahhhh, I gotcha. Honestly, our attendance was terrible. Folks are blaming it on the cold weather, short notice, etc.
I think the Griz get the playoff game attendance award hands down.

ASU only averaged 13 and 15K, respectively for our two games. Pitiful.

Really???? What is up with that? What did App St. get last year and or the year before? I want to say Montana got 19,500 the first and 21,300 last weekend.

Really.

Those averages are on par with what we've drawn for the past four years. The exception being the 24,000 for the semifinal against Richmond last year.
I have no idea how you go from averaging over 25K to empty stands for the playoffs.

It's unebelievably disappointing. I said on the MMB (Mountaineer Message Board) that while we have some great fans, we're a far cry from the folks in Missoula. Maybe we'll get there eventually.

Guys, this is all bullsh*t.
This has to be "announced" attendance, at best. I followed the YSU site all fall and they were talking about fan coutns in the low 2000's for some game. No way in fvcking Hell they averaged 16-something.

Well that is why I asked. I know for a fact that Wa-Griz was pretty damn full most of the season.

Should've seen the attendance fraud Wofford was perpetuating this season. Jesus Christ it was bad. I saw two of their games on SportSouth and Gibbs Stadium was emptier than D1B's wallet at a NAMBLA convention. Both times I think the Terriers declared a full house.

It did seem that everybodies attendance was down a little from what I saw for the 1st round games this year. UNI was about 1/2 of what it was last year from what I saw and they are normally rabid there as well. I think Grizza has the 1st game right as I remember it being just short of 20,000 but I think the game last weekend was over 22,000. Most of the empty seats were in the South End as that's where I sit and people don't want to be around me if they can avoid it. From the south end though looking out it was really full looking.

I went and looked and Grizza had it right. The boxscore says 21583 for the Weber game.

And, with the year they had, ain't no way in Hell that GSU avgd 18000+ for home games. No way in Hell.
These numbers are wrong. Some schools may be right, but it's all in how and what is reported. UNI's, for example, is an honest number, I believe. They have no reason to fudge. Montana has no reason to augment, either.
