Good article....and I hope no one sees it on the FBS level.....love our little niche and really enjoy FBS stepping on their diks each year trying to maintain a flawed system....but this guy gets it.....

I still think the FBS "mid-majors" should boycott the BCS/bowl system and form their own playoffs. Just imagine the media frenzy and the amount of money that would come flowing into a 16 team playoff field and 4 additional weeks of college football revenue.

Screw the FBS, let them continue to do thier corrupted bowl system, while the real division (FCS) continues to do it right.

Think about it, whats the only reason div1a wouldnt do a playoff? its all about money, traditionally the two colors schools:irish,bama,texas,usc,penn st, oklahoma have huge fanbases so they are profitable, televised "Championship/bowl" games bring in MILLIONS. Its the most corrupted thing ive ever seen. and Nobody wants to stand up and say "fvck this" the mid majors are getting fvcked with no vaseline. the div1-aa has a playoff system but they dont have a choice bc no major network will make money with the "bigskytv.com" bowl.


edit. btw the mid-majors are kept in check by the occasional trip to the "sh1ttycomputers" bowl that brings in some money for there athletic department.

The only problem with that is that the SEC et al would have a major cow over that ($$ issues at the very least, plus the issue of the "real" champ) and may try to hold it up in court.

BCS schools are in a messed up system with no real championship, only pretenders. Great article!
