Are we gonna have one this year?

Where, and wrapped around what game?

Probably ought to get to planning this thing...and probably ought to be closer to the East Coast this year, eh?

Thoughts?

Who would be game?

I think the UNI v Southern Illinois game at the Dome is a great option.

UNI homecoming and all

This (despite the homecoming gaffe) is the only attractive home game on UNI's schedule.

What's the weather like there in late October? :coffee:

Probably too cold/hot/windy/icy/snowy/haily/tornadoy for non-Iowagians

Late October is pretty decent. Usually in the 40's, but can drop into the 10's.

And if it is Iowa, assuming we all clear immigration, etc, and I can trick Alex into coming, we could have a CS wedding.

Of course, if Maryland hadn't chickened out, Towson would have worked for that as well.

To me the short list is:

ASU
Delaware
Georgia Southern
Old Dominion
UMass
JMU
UNI
Southern Illinois
NDSU

Or, a bunch of white guys could show up at the Bayou Classic. :)

Weather is 72 degrees/no wind at kickoff for every UNI game.

It's been 68 for the past two seasons for some reason. I wouldn't mind going back to 72 though as 68 is kind of chilly

That IS some unplanned added incentive now, isn't it. I can't WAIT to see Cap'n Cat in a tutu.

UMass would be fun.
No tickets available at NDSU until they build the 50K seat replacement
Bayou classic - would we get TampaJag as our escort?
