While it may be the closest game, the toughest PICK is JMU getting stuck with Wofford.Mvemjsunpx wrote:This looks like the toughest pick of the first round. I think UNH will win close because of the matchups & because they've played very well the last 2 weeks.

Actually, as of this moment, I DO believe that.Cap'n Cat wrote:AZGrizFan wrote: While it may be the closest game, the toughest PICK is JMU getting stuck with Wofford.
Quit whinin'. It's happened to Montana and it's happened to UNI and plenty of other teams. You buttfaces think the Committee is actually conspiring to f**k teams?

Well, you won't feel that way so much when UNI is a sacraficial lamb for ASU on their road to a 4th national title.Cap'n Cat wrote:AZGrizFan wrote: Actually, as of this moment, I DO believe that.![]()

UNI loses to SIU OR UNH.Cap'n Cat wrote:AZGrizFan wrote:

Or, sacrificial, one of the two.

Not true, Z. One game at a time.

We don't hate you. We just don't like the DOME.pantherrob82 wrote:If we can get to round 2, we're in for a tough one. Both teams hate us.
You do realize Limbaugh is a SEMO dropout, don't you?Cap'n Cat wrote: Listening to Limbaugh'll do that to a guy.

Of which matchups do you speak?Mvemjsunpx wrote:This looks like the toughest pick of the first round. I think UNH will win close because of the matchups & because they've played very well the last 2 weeks.
SIU hasn't played much in the way of good spread passing attacks this season & that's what UNH does well. SIU's pass defense numbers also aren't anything special. UNH's biggest weakness is probably pass defense, but SIU doesn't pass the ball particularly well. I think UNH is better equipped to exploit SIU's weaknesses than the other way around.houndawg wrote:Of which matchups do you speak?Mvemjsunpx wrote:This looks like the toughest pick of the first round. SIU's pass D relies more on pressuring and sacking the QB. UNH relies more on their secondary. SIU's running game will be affected by how healthy Warner is on Saturday. He is their main breakaway threat. His backups are more traditional run it up the gut runners. I give SIU the edge in this one because they are always tough at home where they are 24-3 since 2005.Mvemjsunpx wrote:SIU hasn't played much in the way of good spread passing attacks this season & that's what UNH does well. The Salukis will need a huge day from their running game or they'll probably lose.
