I guess that's similar to the season your team has, right?.....that's right...........three hours on NBC, not much else nationally the other 364 days.tampajag wrote:

The game can always be moved but the big wigs would never do it. Too many people put money in their pockets that they won't get on another date.Isn't there some way to schedule the Bayou Classic as the last game of a 11- or 12-game schedule ending in time to allow acceptance of a playoff bid? Grambling AND Southern in the playoffs would be a great deal, and they'd probably do more damage than, oh, say, Morgan State.
1. I laugh because at this point in time Southern is as close to the playoffs as MVSU.Why does a Southern fan laugh at the idea of Southern in the playoffs? They've been good in the past and can be again if the right staff is hired and recruiting goes well. I always thought that the school made a mistake in firing Pete Richardson. Just about every year, he whipped Grambling's tail. Of course, my rooting for Grambling probably jinxed them....
final in what?SuperHornet wrote:I know it'll take a while even if the date-change happens, but a Grambling-Southern final would be huge.
No unfortunately no team from the SWAC can play in the FCS playoffs the current commissioner turned in their automatic bid a full decade ago.The last time the SWAC participated in the 1-AA playoffs was '00 and the tam the represented the SWAC was Jackson St.TwinTownBisonFan wrote:will he let them play in the playoffs?
