As usual, Coach Ron McBride snatched some of the cream of Utah's crop while continuing to reach his recruiting tentacles across the country to Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Oklahoma and even Canada. Notably, four of Mac's five most highly rated recruits came from out of state.
Weber and National Champion Eastern Washington were the only two BSC football programs to snag more than two players from espn's star-rated list. Each garnered five.
Weber and Idaho State were the only BSC schools to capture espn three-star recruits. Defensive end Ben Heimuli (6'1", 225), rated 76, signed with the Bengals.
