UND Suspends Top Running Back

UND announced Josh Murray, their top running back has been kicked off the team for undisclosed rule violations. This is on the heels of a UND hockey player suffering severe frostbite to his feet in an unexplained incident Sunday night.

Naturally, it's NDSUs fault:Josh Murray’s return to University of North Dakota football in 2010 was a feel-good story for the Sioux.
The running back from Pepin, Wis., missed the 2009 season because of academics. But he got his grades in order and received a second chance with the Sioux.
Murray, however, was dismissed from the UND football team Thursday because of a violation of team rules, according to Sioux coach Chris Mussman.
The reason for the dismissal was not revealed.

Unfortunately, he announced the hour would be "wall to wall" NDSU pimping but interrupted the schedule to "break the news" of Murray's dismissal at UND -- all in a celebratory tone and repleat with sound effects. Heard a little of McFeeley yesterday on 790 as well, ranting about the Douple story and asking why Grand Forks media wasn't digging up the details of Kristo's injury. He went on to broadly infer, on the air, that Kristo was drunk. What a vindictive, classless organization Radio Fargo-Moorhead seems to have become ... but maybe its a stipulation of the contract with the AC.
