What I think WGS should ultimately look like...

Before I start... I stole the sketchup idea from EWUranger

Next, I suck at it, but spent a lot of hours on it

This render is not to scale. This is just a thought (wish?) of what WGS may look like in 50 (more/less) years. Also, I realize the exterior is the least of UM's concern right now... Anyway....
1.) added 2 parking structures to the South of WGS over existing lots. They are connected via skyways.
2.) the larger parking structure is attached to the South endzones expanded seating. This would add another access point to the stadium through the parking structure.
3.) the upper East section is expanded to the endzones
4.) large press box suites on the West side with lights on top.
5.) The press box suites are also connected to the south endzone tier.
6.) larger stadium widescreen
I may try to color it at a later date, for now it is what it is.
Thoughts...

No domes / half domes / or whatever you call that horrid thing
However, we would take their giant video screen if they should decide to give it up.

Place it above the NEZ mid section so the tailgaters get a giant video screen and the people inside the stadium. That would be EPIC !!!!

Don't make me open up MS Paint. I will draw Delaware Stadium twice as big as your WGS, and with giant speakers. And blue seats. Padded blue seats. With chairbacks.
I'm thinking like six parking garages.

Even if you added all that, you still wouldn't have a big-ass mountain right next to it. Unless you guys count garbage dumps.

89 did have a pretty good line about two septic tanks forming a valley earlier.

All you need to do is to paint the field yellow, put a blue dissolvable logo in the middle, and put a flush valve at the top.
You Big SKy folks are really creative. You could have both the "Maxi-Pad" and the "Urinal" in the same league.

You're welcome.

AOD, that is not a bad first crack. Sketchup is a pretty cool program to mess around with. Coolest thing about it is that it's free. And it was me you stole the sketchup idea from.
I've been tooling around some with some concepts of RF renovation.......still thinking about some different ideas that people have mentioned.... The biggest problem I have had with sketchup is that you cannot edit the imported google earth 3d terrain, and the one they provide is not accurate, which makes it really difficult to try to build on it. Thus, I had to create terrain from scratch, which makes it a lot less realistic looking

, as you can see in the renders SE posted. I'm still messing around with some ideas. Trying to create 3d buildings from overhead 2D graphics can be frustrating when you are trying to get it to look as accurate as possible and still in scale.

I've thought about that too, I haven't seen any done yet on 3d warehouse. There's a few on there, including a couple of WGS, and one of the Inferno (although it sucks)........

Sorry, I fixed it in my original post. But, yeah sketchup is pretty sweet. Practice makes perfect i guess lol. Thx for the idea.

If WGS was a computer game it would be the coldest, loudest, top selling, and one God damn great game

No arguments here. We could cram another 7-8K in there with no track.

I assume, as the name implies, the field sits over solid rock. I'm assuming they could blast down about twenty feet or so and just extend the bowl down? That would make the place insane.
