They aren't any stars in HS, they are rated coming out. Let me guess...he was rated 4 star, didn't go to an FBS school but went CC first so then they downgraded him to a 3 star, right?

We have one of those too. It's the way they do it to these guys. Unless a 'big boy' takes them, which they (Rivals) think they should, they "downgrade" them. It sucks but it's the truth.

I'm well aware of why guys are downgraded or not ranked at all...in Bryant's case, may have had to do with not playing this year due to a hamstring injury...he got healthy and wanted to play about midway through the season but Ft. Scott wanted to redshirt him and bring him back next year...he wanted to play and get out of JC now...his cousin is our D-line coach, that's a major reason why he signed with us...he had offers from Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri and several other FBS schools...he'll have three years to play three.

We also signed a RB (Jonathan Miles) who likely would have been rated a 4-star had he already been a qualifier...the major FBS schools gave up on him early on and the assumption was he was going to go JC...I know our coaches had him rated as the top RB in the state - period - including the two who signed with LSU...he has some work to do to get eligible, but has a chance...if he doesn't qualify, he'll come in and prop.
