Guys,

I have plenty of updates.

Here is the early list of FCS combine invites:

OG Daniel Kilgore Appalachian State
OLB D.J. Smith Appalachian State
CB Darryl "Buster" Skrine Chattanooga
QB Patrick "Pat" Devlin Delaware
DT Kenrick Ellis Hampton
OG William "Will" Rackley Lehigh
OG David Arkin Missouri State
OT Michael "Mike" Person Montana State
TE Schuylar Oordt Northern Iowa
TE Julius Thomas Portland State
DT Martin Parker Richmond
CB Justin Rogers Richmond
OG Kevin Hughes Southeastern Louisiana
OG Benjamin "Ben" Ijalana Villanova
WR Matthew "Matt" Szczur Villanova

Waiting List:

I can confirm these three are among the 39 on the waiting list. If I confirm anymore names I will post

DE Markell Carter, Central Arkansas
FS Mark LeGree, App State

There might be a high profile FCS player declaring for this year's draft. As soon as I hear on Tuesday, the likely date they will decide, I will let you guys know! Hint: This player participated in the playoffs this year.

He won't play in the NFL. CFL type guy most likely.

What do you think Oordt's chances of getting drafted are?

Getting invited to the combine is a good sign.

Getting invited to the combine is a good sign.
If he runs well at the combine, and he should, I think he is a 6th-7th round pick. He needs a lot of work and is really a PFA caliber player right now but his potential because of his size/speed combination could push him up the board.

I also have a list of non combine invites to watch for as potential draft picks.

CB Korey Lindsey, SIU- Could be a late add but regardless I expect him to run 4.45-4.51 range and end up in the 4th-late 5th round range.

DE Markell Carter, Central Arkansas- Good athlete who should test well. He had a big year and is on the waiting list like Lindsey but I think he has late round talent. I would take him in the 6th or 7th round for sure.

FS Mark LeGree, App State- His 40 time will be key but I think his production will get him drafted as long as he runs 4.4s. Could be added late as well.

CB Cortez Allen, The Citadel- Another potential late addition will light up the Combine and I mean LIGHT IT UP! Could run 4.4s , jump a 10'5 broad jump, 37 plus vertical, all at 6'1 190 pounds.

WR Courtney Smith, South Alabama- Getting 5th-6th round grades from some teams. Would have been invited to the Combine if voting had been done this week. Several teams had not done film on him in early Dec when they voted but would vote him as of today.

Others that could rise up the board and be selected: S Tommy Irvin, Wofford; S Eugene Clifford, Tenn St; DT Ibraham Abdulai, UAPB; DT Frank Kearse, Alabama A&M.

How about Erik Stoll S, Montana?

I figured with 3 safeties in the NFL as is, teams should at least take a look

He is getting looks. I don't think Stoll is at the same level of Anderson and Schillinger but you never know. A good pro day could vault him into the draft.

.
I would do my homework on that one if I were NFL teams...we had to run him off midway thru the 2007 season...I'll leave it at that.

Went To High School And Play Football With Stoll, He has the heart of Brett Favre out on the field, He Is One of the guys that you want on your team. I dont know how many times I wanted to give up, And he would tell us to keep going, I think Erik Should be looked at by tons of Teams, And I know that there will be alot of old teammates from Sandpoint ID that will drive for hours to see him Play!!!! Good Luck Stoll We are all Prayin for Ya to Get to the Big Show!!!!!!

There were a couple of guys I felt should have gotten invites to the combine like DT Andre Carroll of Delaware St and his teammate WR Larrone Moore I feel both have the ability to play at the next level.

This really sucks for a lot of FCS guys:

NFL teams will not be able to sign undrafted rookie free agents without a new CBA. Stinks for all the players on the brink of 7th round/FA
