Where did this thread go, did the moderators move/lock/delete it??? I'm sure it had to have been the first congratulatory post on the board last night.

Right now my bet is sound. I had a feeling after watching the NDSU/EWU game that the Eagles were lacking.

There is no denying how good EWU is, from the head coach on down.
At least you covered all your bases tonight.

All of us here laughed at that too!

If you go to Bisonville, half the fans are still full of sour grapes. There is even a declaration that they are the "defacto" national champions.
Half the fans there are congratulatory, but the other half...

Memories of wrong doing have a long life:

14 years!
The NDSU fans on Bisonville arent even six months out and they have the film of all the bad calls including the last play of the game sealing the fate of the BISON. Give it time. Some of them are bound to come around.

They can hang their "defacto" national title banner next to their "mythical" national title of '07.

I'm sure this gentleman was simply caught up in the moment:
Here is the defacto statement:
westnodak93Bison wrote:I sent texts to a couple friends today that I would be watching EWU win making NDSU the "defacto" NC. I was right and they didn't even have the best RB in FCS at their disposal. Holy shit, a horrible personal foul call and a one in a hundred catch on the shoulder pad on third and long and here we are......we are so close. IMHO, this should help seal the deal on a few top line recruits....cough cough Ernie, Ross etal....

and finally one of the truly great NDSU football fans on Bisonville complaining about the rules:
BemidjiBison11 wrote:Once again, the EWU fans have no regard for the rules and ring those damn bells.

DJH as a matter of taste mythical title banners are not displayed. Since your school may not have one you probably didn't know.
Ps. Clenz, I havent heard from the NCAA or the GAC on that. I will let you know first if they call.

Have to make up your mind, first you say we do, then you say we don't.

Prolonged exposure to cold and dark has a deranging effect on mental health.......sad part is that having fluked into an expanded playoff field in a down year they now assume that they are a permanent fixture in the playoffs.

I just received this note from the Prestigious Golden Arm Committee. They asked me to pass it on:
*********FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TO THE FCS************
The Golden Arm Committee wrote:
Greetings to all from the Inner Office:
The playoffs were expanded but getting in represents the same commitment to quality and excellence it always has. NDSU is the prime example of how a team can improve to national playoff stature with that commitment.
Not only did they concentrate and focus on improving the game during every practice of the year they also insured success with one of the finest coaching staffs in the country.
The support network of the NDSU FOOTBALL CONGLOMERATE is the best in the country. It was heart-warming to BISON fans everywhere to see the high level of support from all over the country Visiting the Plush BISON FOOTBALL LIAR deep under the stands at the Prestigious Fargo Dome. It was Fabulous.
It was also a real treat to witness the changing of the guard in the MVFC. As the old school teams fade the new power structure is beginning to emerge led by The NDSU BISON. 5 schools showed improvement. 4 fell from the previous year. The most dramatic fall off was SIU. Truly an embarrassing and soul-searching season for the Saluki fans and FBS Coaching hopeful Dale Lennon.
The most dramatic moment for the MVFC had to be the win by The BISON at the Kansas Jayhawks. That was a signature win for the league and the program. The Jayhawks are a charter member of the respected Big 12 conference.
Thanks to all for your kind support.
