Eastern Players Make It to Frisco - Gear Misses Plane

Glitch Forces Change to Eastern Washington's Tight ScheduleThings aren't going exactly has planned for the Eastern Eagles, who play Friday in the FCS National Championship game against Delaware.
The team left Spokane on Tuesday bound for Frisco, Texas. They arrived just fine. Their equipment took a detour though, forcing some changes to a tight schedule mandated by the NCAA. Sports Information Dave Cook said everything arrived around 9 a.m. and that everything is "all well now!"
With the late arrival of their football gear, instead of practicing Wednesday morning at Pizza Hut Park, the Eagles will practice late in the afternoon after a media luncheon and a team photo.
Eastern Washington will have another walkthough on Thursday afternoon, right before the FCS Award Finalists press conference. On Friday they'll have a pre-game meal at 4 o'clock local time. Kickoff to the game is at 6 (4 p.m. PT).

I'm surprised the NCAA didn't suspend all the players for that.

Delaware had a hiccup supposedly yesterday when they flew down - ended up getting there a little later than planned and they scrapped a walkthrough so that the players could get lunch. Funny too that the charter was going to be overweight for the flight so they had to send some of the student managers up to Philly (the charter was flying out of New Castle) to catch a commercial flight to reduce the weight load. That's why you fly down a few days early - just in case.

Yea I saw that too, but i dont think its a big deal bc after team meal the team usually goes straight to the locker room to get ready for the game.
