2) Rookies QB John Skelton (Fordham) connected with WR Andre Roberts (Citadel) for 74-yard TD.

Rodgers-Cromartie got lucky that the receiver fell victim to the crappy turf. The other one was actually an un-called PI situation.

Skelton, however, apparently did a creditable job after surviving an early case of the suckies, buoyed as he was by those bad-luck pick-sixes. The Cowboys' third-stringer, from all reports, was horrible. Of course, Skelton has had a game or two to adjust, while the former ATMer was thrust into the fire with no warning when Kitna went down.

I'm sure the Cowboys are shopping for QBs today....

And lets not forget that while he didn't score, another FCS alum (Hightower from Richmond) carrys the ball for Phoenix...

Just a thought - is it time for an FCS alumni sub-forum? It'd be for following their careers day-to-day and game threads. This season in particular there seems like a lot of these type of threads popping up and it'd be nice to centralize them.
