Which team do you think would not have been in a 16 team playoff?

Really, it just comes down to two teams, NDSU and GSU. Both are the only survivors of the opening round "bottom 8."

I think GSU was in for sure and I think NDSU probably gets in over WIU, but that's a toss-up.

UNI, Robert Morris and Lehigh were AQ's playing in the first round, not sure GSU or NDSU would have fit if you add the AQ's to the final 16. I would guess a 2nd MVFC team like WIU would have unfortunately been selected ahead of both.

The four bottom ALs were (in alphabetical order)

GSU
NDSU
SCSU
WIU

There were six ALs that received byes and you would assume get in over these four. So I guess the main question is, do you think GSU and NDSU get in over SCSU and WIU. I say yes for both on SCSU, not sure about WIU though.

Sorry, forgot CCU. Still think WIU gets in over NDSU, and a 2nd MVFC over a 3rd Southern. Just trying to think like a NCAA trog.

I guess I'm missing something, to me it looks like 4 AQ's added to the 12 teams with bye's is 16.

But in the 16 team playoff, two of the AQs don't exist.
